I’ll never understand how a high school player can secure a 5 star rating and not be able hit a reasonable percentage of his outside shots.

Recruiting ratings have turned into a joke. Everything is based on height, wingspan, & AAU scoring against teams who play no defense. Not to mention the politics involved with certain AAU coaches and teams.

88-89 was Sutton's last year. They went 13-19. Pitino's first team in 89-90 went 14-14 on probation and yes they would kill this group.
