Welp scenario, ND loses tonight, OSU, OU and Georgia lose next week, CFP has no choice but to finally let UCF but doesn't matter if ND wins and stays where they are. a 2 loss LSU is out and Wazzu will drop with their loss. OU plays UT in the Big 12 title game and UT has got pretty stout D that put the clamps on OU earlier in the year and OU has no D. What sucks is if UCF makes it, Milton is done and so are they. What ****** luck

Nice take OP. I do think however that they will get drilled by Bama or Clemson if they play.

whoever is 3 and 4 is likely to get hammered

I was hoping WSU and their offense would get a chance but alas it snowed in Pullman for the Apple Cup and their finesse offense ground to a halt

when you are located in some geographical areas you need an offense that doesn't completely shut down when the weather turns sour and you need a reasonably competent defense

Interesting note: Kelly two years ago finished 4-8, remind you of some team.:)

Another fact since Nebraska won their last Conference title Notre Dame has had losing season in
1999, 2001,2003,2007 besides two years ago including a 6-6 season in 2009.

By comparison Nebraska has had 5 losing seasons the past 15 years..

I will agree that I do not like the media coverage of Notre Dame. However, when we went to the game there several years ago, the fans couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming to us. And that’s despite the fact that we took over there stadium. So this protested has no hatred for Notre Dame or it’s fans.

Notre Dame now has 997 wins just like Nebraska except they count a few wins against South Bend high and Nebraska changed their win count 30 years against high school games..

We will see what they can do most likely in a matchup with Clemson but going undefeated with that schedule is not easy. They have better wins than Clemson and I think they could give them a game. I don’t know that anyone can hang with Bama. There are certainly not 4 teams more deserving than Notre Dame.

Hard to believe that Notre Dame's last NC was their 1988 team. Heck, OU has been dry since 2000, and Miami since 2001, Michigan and Nebraska since 1997 (Nebraska was better;)).
Also going on 13 & 14 years for Texas and USC. Some big names in a NC drought.

It’s become all SEC, so tired of them getting two teams in the playoff even more...

I can't stand them, but ND took care of business. The Big 10 can't get out of its own way. I don't know why any teams can't seem to get up for a game against Notre Dame and knock them off. They're a good team but it doesn't seem like they should be undefeated.
