I Like that Plott is finding the ability to ride his opponents!!!
Sidenote: I'm rooting for Quincy Monday to get it done at 157!!
Dustin Plott's next match is against the UNC kid who knocked his front teeth out. It is a small world. Somewhere i heard Coach Smith say with their positions to have your front teeth knocked out it would need to be done on purpose.
Also the kid that beat Haas in state finals his junior year in HS

Close but I think it was his younger brother who beat Haas. Clay is a graduate student who has been at UNC for 5 years. His younger brother who did beat Haas in the Kansas finals is also at UNC wrestling 197.

Over the last 11 years, PSU is now 37-0 in the semifinals when they are the higher seed. They simply do not lose when they are favored.

If track is right Dustin just had a 6 pt. move to take an 8 to 2 lead starting the 3rd period.
Plott continue ride as he has over one minute of riding time...still up 8-2

12 to 3 win for Dustin. I call that some justice. It looks like flo will need to eat some crow next week. Poor year for the Cowboys but you have to give credit to Dustin for rebounding from a couple of poor performances in duals. Sixth is the worse he could do and hopefully we win 3 matches tomorrow.

I quit listening/watching Flo. There are a couple of decent guys on there, but the majority are annoying.

I think you are right he has jumped a level. It appears his toughness, conditioning and grit have taken him up that level. Two comeback wins in consolations against quality opponents. He has Hidlay in the consolation semi's tomorrow morning.
Didnt Darrell Keller transfer from elsewhere also? But, he was only a 2 time champ, so probably doesnt count.
