Man TW can’t get it done. Drops a 4-3 decision to Smith from OhSt.

Poor awareness at the end of the second to give up the TD and then not a lot of “want to” in the 3rd to get a TD.

Ouch!!! Wittake loses to smith...1st time in the NCAA's...I think he'll struggle to AA IMO. I know he got punished for losing in the big XII's, but he really did get a nice draw "on paper".

Tough to win matches when you don't get any offense going. I will never understand why guys just can't pull the trigger. Sometimes the perfect shot isn't there, just have to make something happen.

Anybody know if Skidgel from Navy is related to the Skidgel from Oklahoma that wrestled yrs ago?

Witlake has not been aggressive this year. Until he learns to be the aggressor, he will not have the he career that he hoped to have.

It’s tough because he was really on a roll last year heading into the NCAA’s. Was firing on all cylinders. Short season, little injury and just never really got rolling.

He isn’t alone in that. It’s a free year and he is a young and talented kid who will get better.

Wittlake and Plott getting moved around the mat, other teams have much heavier hands.

Plott getting ready to go down. He didn’t look competitive at the end. Of course, it was against the No. 2 seed. Final was 11-5.

This year is a wash.....if we finish in the top 10...that's an accomplishment in itself despite the majority of our lineup dealing with injuries.

He was down 1 point in the third and in deep on a TD that would of given him the lead. Then gassed a bit but that was very competitive until the last 60 seconds.

Makes sense. I saw the third period when he looked like he was done.

It’s been kind of cool watching the ESPN+ multi view with all the mats. At a minimum it’s easy to see when our wrestlers are coming up. Also to see who to root against!

It is great. ESPN finally wised up and realized that we might like to watch all the mats at the same time.

Geer comes up short. Loses to the 6 seed. 7-3 and gets ridden the 3rd period.

We couldn’t turn one upset tonight which stinks. AJ coming up on 6.

Someone needs to tell Geer driving your head into the mat is not the way to escape.

Geer was aggressive in the first two rounds but just not quite good enough.

Pathetic. Can’t counter takedowns and can’t finish them. Expected better from wittlake and geer
