Labriola (174) wins by decision 3-1.

Something seems "off" with Mikey all year for some reason. Much more of a defensive philosophy rather than his usual offensive push.

Realistically the team title will probably come down to Penn State vs Iowa so I'm rooting for the Nits to win it all. Will be double laughter at Iowa's expense after losing in March Maddness today

good stuff but Labriola will give us heart attacks----he's much more tactical this year---its ok --he knows what he's doing when someone gets in on his legs

Tactical is probably a better way to say it, but I think that leaves him more prone to an upset. Generally having a close match going into the 3rd period doesn't leave room for error and opens up the potential for kind of a freak situation at the end of periods. He is still great in scramble situations and knows how to handle things when an opponent gets in on his legs. I just observe that the best wrestlers are more aggressive and go on the offense (while still maintaining the tactical and technical aspects). Maybe I just appreciate him winning 11-7 with 5 or 6 scramble situations as opposed to a 3-1 decision where there is perhaps 1-2 scramble situations. But a win is a win no matter how it occurs.

Hardy (141) wins by decision in quarterfinals 7-0.

Robb wins but he can be frustrating to watch sometimes rematch inthe semis against Levi from Penn State. Who beat Rob in the conference tourney

Labriola (174 wins in quarterfinals by decision 4-3.
Wilson ( 165) wins in consolation by decision 5-2.

4 of 7 make semifinals and are guaranteed all-american status. Will have 2 in consolations with an opportunity for AA. Damn fine showing so far.

Huskers with a strong showing! Penn State is a lock for 1st, but Big Red may pass Iowa with a couple of wins in the semis.
