Well what else is he going to say in August. I’m sure he said the same thing on March 1 this year only to cancel 2 weeks later.

Don't think this will happen. Even if they start in the winter there will not be enough games to fairly field a tournament. Fielding .500 teams not gonna be if non conf games eliminated.
