First 18 minutes of that half, every call went the hogs way. Last two minutes was the complete opposite. Weird.

Cliff Omoruyi still learning the game. Maybe by his Jr season, and I think definitely in his Senior season, he's going to be a star.

If Rutgers were to somehow beat Houston that would leave the following teams left in that region

8 Loyola
10 Rutgers
11 Syracuse
4 Oklahoma State vs 12 Oregon State

Think how everyone complained about how Oklahoma State got screwed getting a 4 seed. Reminds me of 2018 with Kentucky when our bracket went wide open from a 5 seed yet Loyola won that one too.

I would think Loyola would be the favorite. Oklahoma State doesn't have enough besides Cade.

Texas Tech really screwed up not calling a timeout there at the end. As soon as they had trouble getting the ball to McClung off the missed free throw that should have been a timeout.

Additionally, when their hectic attempts at a pick and roll didn’t work with about 9 seconds left that also should have been a timeout.

They ended up getting a decent look but ideally they would have put up a shot with a few seconds of buffer to get a put back. Just bad execution all around.

I swear I kept hearing someone yelling timeout but I don't know who it was with about 6 seconds left that said the guy had a layup and blew it.

That game was the opposite of Kentucky Duke 92 where every play was a winning play. Those two teams were playing hot potato with the victory.

Rutgers player got assaulted, no foul, up 2 with 30 seconds to go. Refs send crooked coach to sweet sixteen.

I disagree with the narrative as well that it was wrong to milk some clock there at the end it’s not like what Cal has done in the past when he starts milking at 5 mins they were under the damn 2 min mark it’s the right move IMO. They just couldn’t make a play.
