Maryland was shaky earlier but found their stride the last 5 minutes to go up 36-35 heading into the lockerroom

Mt St Marys taking it to Nova 18-15...I have Nova winning the national championship in one of my brackets so I will refrain from rooting for this 16 over 1 upset

Vermont up early on Purdue

Nova up 1 at half...surprised how easily Mt St Marys is able to score on them, their guards are playing well...their coach has set forth a gameplan and they really are executing it

finally Purdue has taken the lead over Vermont..havent caught any of that game yet

St Marys starting to get a little seperating over VCU

does Maryland have one last run in them, they certainly have had their opportunities to cut the gap...now under 4 with ball down 7

Nova putting a spanking on Mt St Marys in the second half as Jay lit the fire at half

Maryland really **** the bed tonight

I think some of the guys are young...they seem to be one player away. Trimble was disappointing to me tonight late

Purdue cannot shake Vermont...cannot afford a third loss by the conference, Purdue is the only one that carries any real expectations

I still cannot fathom how Maryland was a 6 and Wisky was an 8.

Wisky 6
Minny 6 or 7
Michigan 6 or 7
Maryland 8

The little I've seen of Purdue in the beginning and now, Haas has been Trimble-like bad. Two early offensive fouls, can't make a shot from 2 inches out.

The Vermont coach is going to be a thorn in someone's side at a bigger school down the road....they execute on both ends of the court each possession.

2-2 for the Big 10....need that Wisky win tonight, still because of the seeding set up, I think the best the conference can hope for is Purdue and Michigan in the Sweet 16 and the latter is stretching it

Good night, Vermont. Purdue is closing this one out. I haven't seen hardly action so far today but was happy to see Xavier over the Terps. I've got them in my Sweet 16.

well these 4 games certainly lacked drama...only two real interesting games...one that was semi close in WVU/Bucknell.....tourney going to have to pick it up

No big upsets yet. Middle Tennessee State was a -1.5 favorite even though they were a 12 seed. Northwestern and Xavier were both 2 point underdogs. Maybe something interesting happens in the late late session. FSU and FGCU is close, FGCU just hit a 3 to take the lead 29-28.

Wisky has a 3 PT shooter who is unconscious from way beyond the arc. 8/14 is keeping them in it.
