Quite frankly I do not like having the games on CBS and then using NBA guys to do their analysis post game with guys who have not covered the season but at least the annoucing crews are decent...I see no Chris Webber this year though

Raft is obv. awesome. Kevin Harlan's good IMO. Katz drives the bus, ha. Eagle & Spanarkel I never minded... reminds me of my days as a Nets fan in the mid 90s. The rest, meh. Reggie Miller might be fun to have, good personality. Lappas I still despise from his 'Nova days. Grant Hill, meh, Jim Jackson, meh... listening to them is like watching paint dry. Lisa B, not it. Nessler I like kind of.
Jackson and Steve Smith both ex-Big Ten guys, old schoolers who prob. struggle with the fact that RU, MD & Neb. are in their conf. now. Just speculating/assuming.

I wish Turner/CBS had a contract with Robbie Hummel (he works for both FOX/BTN and ESPN, so why not one more?). The Athletic had a good piece on him today saying he's gonna be the voice of college basketball (like Bilas/Raf) if he sticks with broadcasting and doesn't go into coaching. It'd be cool to have a Big Ten guy be super prominent, whereas Raf and Bilas are BE and ACC honks.

I think it's a massive cash cow for CBS and Turner so they pay whatever it takes when the contracts come up (probably have right of first refusal). The tournament is behind only the Super Bowl in terms of a sporting event that gets casual sports fans tuning in. Only college football fans watch the college football playoffs. But everyone fills out a bracket.
ESPN would find some way to ruin it, no doubt. I wouldn't mind seeing it split between CBS/Turner, ESPN, and FOX though. And then each outlet can play to their strengths.
