Turgeon has definitely perfected the faux outrage face that he directs to the refs 700 times a game, each time to convey the message that it was the worst call he's ever seen in his life.

Didn't realize that former Nebraska Assistant Tony Benford is LSU's interim coach. Apparently Doc didn't teach him how to beat a zone.

And because this is college basketball, the officials dutifully respond with slobbering makeup calls.

Well LSU survived an awful second half, and that insufferable d-bag is going home.

How can they have so many BIG teams playing or potentially playing each other? MSU v Minnesota in the second round and the winner would have played Maryland in the next round had they won.

Same reason why Michigan played Florida in the bowl Game when they had never played LSU ever...o_O

How much blame does the selection committee deserve for this disaster? Their job is to make the tournament entertaining. Any coach will tell you that seeding is over rated, it’s match-ups that matter. The pooling match-ups have been awful. Worst maybe of all time. Hard to project that second round but if it was easy, any one could do it. Apparently this committee this year was the first bad move in this tournament. CBS has to be in full panic mode right now.

Props to Iowa on their comeback today. Tough loss. Will never understand why college coaches hoard timeouts instead of trying to stop momentum.
Yeah Iowa did play a great second half. But Tennessee also fell into the trap of trying to sit on a lead with nearly an entire half left to play. Never understood why you would want your team to aimlessly milk time off the shot clock when playing aggressively is what got you the big lead in the first place.

Thought it would look different once OT started. Props to the Williams guy. 2 time SEC player of the year for a reason. Well, good run. Have some good pieces in place.

If I remember, it was one of the reasons Barnes was outed at Texas. Never ever sit on a lead. 'Dance with the girl that brung ya'.

Not really sure why Texas cut Barnes loose, except that he had 10 really good years there and then things trended downward. Texas being Texas, they figured they could surely do better.

I think it was his personality. Rick is a calm, quiet, reserved, nice guy...I think UT wanted that big splash, big personality...

Bad idea.

Not counting Cook - he's believed to be gone. The NYC PG will probably eat Dailey & CMC's minutes (CMC may choose to stick to baseball). Moss will still play a role somewhere. Team should be hungrier next year to improve on 23 wins.

Their only issue will be that they have expectations next season. Assuming they don't melt down from that and assuming that Fran doesn't melt down...they are a top 4 team in conference.
