Texas taking The Gonzaga team to the wire that beat us by 50. Makes me grateful for the turnaround we had, we were maybe the worst power conference team in the country the first six weeks of this season

Texas one of the last 4 teams in the field. A lot of people said Oklahoma should been in instead of them because Oklahoma finished the year with on a winning streak including winning at Texas the final regular season game then Oklahoma went on SEC run in tournament and Texas lost in the first round to Ole Miss and lost like 5 out of their last 6.

It is your entire body of work though that got you into the tournament.

A guy on XM kept saying I don't want to see the teams limping into the tournament I want to see teams that are hot. Would never seen Texas make 3 wins and get to the Sweet 16 with that thinking.

Gonzaga chokes again.

Heidi had 0 pts before he hit that dagger from the corner for 3 with 14 seconds left of all people to take that shot.

Scary thought is this is probably going to be Miller's worst team talent-wise at Texas. Even if a few of the top SEC coaches leave for other jobs, others are going to rise up.

UK needs to get serious and proactive NOW to counter this. A GM, better player development staff, and a better strength and conditioning program are a must regardless of whether or not we're rolling with Year 3 of the current experiment.

I think Pope needs to poach Tanner. I would much rather have him as PG than Lowe.

The next guy I would consider poaching is Sandfort from Nebraska. He can shoot very well. At least in his opener.

Pope will be coach next year and there’ll probably be no GM or major coaching changes going into next year. He’s been given free reign to do as he pleases. Even Hubert Davis had to change up bis staff/add a GM after failing one year despite making the title game his first year. Expectations simply aren’t that high at Kentucky.
