No. Sorry. I only want Pope beating injured teams when I believe hes the guy moving forward. And I'm just not there right now. Can I be? Sure. But I need to see a lot from this tournament and this off season to feel even decent about those prospects.

So we don't have injuries?

We do, but im mixed on just how important those injuries are. Compared to Joshua Jefferson for ISU.

This is more to say: I need to see what sort of coach Pope is. He probably should have lost today if not for Oweh heroics.

Im still mad about Siena..
I wonder if they could have beat one of the #2 seeds. They said they felt disrespected being a #16 seed.

Or maybe it was Duke injuries that gave them that chance who knows.

All I know is if they had made that dunk to go up 15 instead of that allowing that miss to get Duke on a run to cut it down to 7 in nano second how that game would turned out.

Also wonder if not putting subs it cost them at the end. You would thought they could subbed at least 1 guy for some time for a few others to get a couple minutes I mean they didn't play entire season with 5 guys.

I hate Duke, but its very much the injuries that gave Siena the chance.

The sub question is a fair debate. But I think Gerry Mac knew his 6th 7th and 8th guys werent gonna be able to handle Duke. So he threw his best 5 out there to try and win it. But yeah you wonder if it wouldn't have helped to give those guys a rest.

Wow Robbie Hummel is solid in the booth. Surprised. Those teams for Purdue should have done more damage if not for his knees.

Who the hell is Cal Baptist? And how did not-overall-1-seed UF get a 19-17 team in the opening round?

I admit I didn't pay any attention to selection Sunday this year, mainly because I was getting on a cruise ship last Sunday for some time away from the hustle and bustle. But some of these draws for some teams are just wacky.

I think they beat Duke in 2010 with a healthy Hummel. But they’re also probably higher than a 4 seed if he doesn’t get injured.

If Missouri wins i’ll actually have one bracket in a pool with some gaming friends that’s still perfect. That’s really the only game left i’m worried about. I don’t see Uconn having any issues with Furman. Or Kansas with sisters of the po…i mean California Baptist. They’ve only been D1 for 8 seasons.

KU isn't much better than freaking CBU right now. Nothing I'd love better than for KU to go down to whoever this little Wheeler dude is.

Just when I thought upsets were back.. today is ALL chalk (8/9s aside). Sucks. This is what I fear for the opening rounds.
