Last year we struggled a lot in January and early February. So far we have been a much better team than last year. After Kentucky game a vital stretch to get above .500 before Tennessee and @Auburn. I see us as 6 seed in SEC tournament right now making a run in tournament to be bounced in Semi-finals. Not to bad if you ask me. Clearly people will disagree, but I embrace debate unlike some on this board so would love to discuss with my fellow bulldog fans. MAROON AND WHITE FOREVER

We needed the LSU game so very badly. Now state is going to be 0-2 at home this week. Then we have a tough game at home vs Bama that feels like a loss. Not good for our NCAAT Hopes.

The problem is actually getting in the NCAAT. I feel like we can only afford 4 more losses in the regular season. UK and Tenn are guaranteed Ls. Aurburn on the road is going to be tough. So really only one more loss to play with.
That's not the problem. We will get in. Just gonna have a tougher matchup in second round instead of round of 32
That loss tonight was bad. Real bad. I know LSU is ranked high in NET and they are really good, but if we want to be a top tier SEC team you have to win this game. I hope I’m wrong, but I can’t see us above 9-9 in the SEC. Sure, that gets us an 8 or 9 seed, and an early exit. Very disappointing. Can’t keep taking home losses.
We won't get in if we don't go 9-9 in conference play, and there are no guarantees that will happen. It's a numbers game now. We have 4 losses to give. I see more than 4 potential losses on our schedule.
Absolutely. This team is still in great shape for the tournament, and unless the bottom completely falls out which I don’t expect, I think we’re still firmly in position for a 6-8 seed. We’ve got a lot of good wins
That said, last night was yet another blown opportunity, and we’ve now pretty much lost all hope of anything better. It also seems that the team proved again that it’s simply incapable of stringing together a run of wins which doesn’t bode well for the postseason. We're at the point where it doesn't really matter if we loose to a team higher than us in the NET. It's a simple numbers game now. We have to get 5 more wins. Doesn't really matter who it is.
