what I like about this tourney so far, as opposed to the entire season for UK, is that we are not hearing a whistle every 30 seconds! Where could we get some of these refs for our games?? I haven't seen a single player foul out today for any team! How refreshing......

Very true. I think only in 1 game were there guys who fouled out. It was 2 for each team, but I believe it was the OT game. For the most part the whistle has been very good I think.

*edit- It wasnt an OT game. It was the 1st game of the day with Florida and VaTech eaching having 2 guys foul out.

Baldwinsville, just Northwest of Syracuse.

No ****. You spend any time in the ADKs?

I'm hearing that the teams who lost the tournament last year, were fast tracked to the next possible regions.. which would be Albany. Hopefully in the next few years.

My dad was born in Watertown so we were up that way from time to time but I don't remember much if any time in the ADKs. I did spend a lot of time in Letchworth though, that is one of my favorite places I've ever been.

Amazing stat line for San Diego State in their 78-62 loss to Syracuse...

First 32:30 of the game - 33 points scored
Last 7:30 of the game - 29 points scored

Yeah, I get that Syracuse obviously let up a bit in the last 7:30 being up 26, but the Aztecs set the game of basketball back to the stone age with that performance.

There has been a lot of discussion on here about the Big 10 being over rated all season. They wound up getting 9 teams in the tournament with 1, Mich St, already falling. How many do you think survive the first weekend? I have 4 of the 9 surviving this weekend with Illinois being the only one making it to the Final Four.

Man they sucked even worse than I thought they would. 🤣 🤣 🤷‍♂️

It's been bad for them. I mean I don't like to rate conferences based solely on what they do in a span of four days or a tournament mainly because 1) not all conference teams make a tournament and I believe conferences should be rated as whole and 2) just the natural one and done nature of the tournament. It still is very much a small sample in the grand scheme of things.

All of that being said, it's been awful for that conference this tournament. The results have been shockingly disappointing. Best conference or not it's still a power conference losing to the seeds that were way worse than they were.
