As depressing as this is, hopefully these actions will prevent the spread of the virus and it will hit its peak in the coming weeks, and the hysteria will die down. First time in my lifetime the Cats last game was a W but not a NC....this all just sucks
It just saved them from choking on some mid-major.

There was just no way you could postpone something like this. Its not a comedy show or a band's national tour. Those are things that dont really have a lifecycle.. Sports does. Just wasnt enough free time to schedule a 3 week tournament.
Agreed it was reported that either Duke or UNC said they wouldn't play in the tourney if there was one held. I tried to go back to the article to get the link but now I cant find the specific article because the story is blowing up.
Whichever one it was, they probably weren't alone. Doubtful Nebraska would have played if you consider what happened with their coach and being quarantined.
