This is I suppose the worst day in cbb history. Such a blow to all the players. Sucks for fans to. The statement made it sound like they just didn’t think they could make postponing it work.

There was just no way you could postpone something like this. Its not a comedy show or a band's national tour. Those are things that dont really have a lifecycle.. Sports does. Just wasnt enough free time to schedule a 3 week tournament.

Players didn't want to play. You can't make the players travel and play if they don't want to.

Agreed it was reported that either Duke or UNC said they wouldn't play in the tourney if there was one held. I tried to go back to the article to get the link but now I cant find the specific article because the story is blowing up.

Whichever one it was, they probably weren't alone. Doubtful Nebraska would have played if you consider what happened with their coach and being quarantined.

Whatever happened to survival of the fittest?

Just kidding....NCAA had no choice but follow suit. Huge liability!

Me right now. I know it’s just sports but damn it if I don’t feel bad for these kids. I know there are more important things in life, but can’t help the sadness I feel in my heart

“Think a guy”- that explains the phrase drunk as a bat, but anteater? Maybe he was a pissant? I don’t know.

I was really looking forward to Kansas choking away another championship caliber squad against a mid major.
I feel bad for Dayton though. We get teams like that every other year. This was their once in a lifetime team. Like UT last year.

I don't see why they would do it but do they have a selection show still ? Just so teams like Rutgers can make the tournament for the first time in so many years ect.

It's a shame that everyone involved in playing and coaching officials and people running the stadium can't get tested then all the ones that don't have it to then go somewhere and play.

And yet, the school that I teach at, that houses 1,200 students an 100+ teachers, is still open.

Makes sense.
