I thought they would suspend first, of course they can clarify at a later date. I hope they are at least leaving the possibility open behind closed doors.
Well at least we ended the season with a win...
UK defeated FL for the 2020 SEC National Title in my book.

At least the season ended on a positive instead of this board being unbearable for weeks.

They (and all others) had no choice. They couldn't take the chance of being the outlier. If any organization didn't/doesn't follow suit and make similar cancellations and then something happens, lawsuits would potentially follow quickly.

I have thought about this constantly over the past couple of days. Very glad we finished with a thrilling win, but man, I bet Ashton regrets losing his cool in that Tennessee game, and watching the final game in front of a big screen.

I think the problem is travel, having all these players and support staff going through airports and hotels is not ideal and they probably don't want to do that anyway. Travel is most likely how it started in the NBA.
They could have, and were planning to do so. However, then an NBA player got the virus and the NBA shut down. That was the end of it. Also, conference tournaments should have gone no-fan from the beginning as a test. At the end of the day, having the athletes criss-crossing around the country is still a problem. You are creating 10s of thousands of possible vectors for spread. Every week, hundreds of people sweating on each other then returning to college before repeating it in a different location a week later? Probably better to avoid that, otherwise you ARE going to end up forcibly locked in your house for a month.
...this is the better of the two options.

Everyone understands that but it still ****** sucks cuz damn near all the fans are invested in UK ball. It’s a way of life and now we have no idea what this team could’ve been.
Plus it’s a great time of the year. Kids work their whole lives for this and bam it’s all taken away.
Players didn't want to play. You can't make the players travel and play if they don't want to.
They aren't going to make an announcement of cancellation and then come back in a few weeks to try and reschedule. Logistically impossible.
We think we're disappointed. Imagine being Dayton. That was a once in a lifetime team for them.
First time since 2013 without a NCAA champion this sucks...
