Tough loss for SMU. They brought a huge crowd & choked it at the end. Their offense stagnated the last 5 minutes & they let #30 hit another 3 late. I have mixed emotions after this one.

No mixed emotions for me. Pissed off that SMU couldn't win some extra dough for TU.

So how do I get hold of two of their Sunday tickets? What happens to the loser allotment? Assigned to winner?

I sat with USC fans too. Great seats. Only brought a few family and fans.

Had SMU won, we'd have a sellout on Sunday. It may still happen with KU fans, Tulsa area fans & more Baylor fans showing up.

I bought a couple of seats from Seatgeek.com in the upper deck first row for $36 including the fee for both tickets. It would have been a great deal but when I tried to use the tickets; they were invalid. I was still able to pick up great seats 10 rows up & center court at the ticket office for $100 each.

I have mixed feelings about the loss. I wanted SMU to win but a pack of SMU fans in their mid twenties showed up in the second half 3 rows in front of me and they only sat down during timeouts. Karma is a b!tch fellas.

Looks like plenty of empty seats but a lot of those lower bowl are team allotments as I recall.

Looks bad but all the seats were sold. Looking at the site on Tuesday there weren't many tickets left at all for today and I'm sure some of those sold. I would expect an extra dose of KU fans hitting up Craig's list for tickets to Sunday's game

First time poster here, but huge TU fan!
My wife and I went to the afternoon games and sat in section 306. It was our first NCAA experience. During halftime of the Baylor game we moved a section over, which we had to ourselves the rest of the afternoon. We could see very well, but can someone tell me why they keep the upper level dark? I had to use the light on my phone to read our program.

I would guess it's an NCAA thing. I read that the NCAA has a lengthy manual that gives each site precise details on how they want things done at each arena. It may be that they know the lower bowl will usually be full, but not as often with the upper bowl, & they want a TV appearance of a full arena.

USC looks like TU so far. Hopefully they will snap out of it as has been their trend lately.

They've snapped out of it and now Baylor is in a funk. SC has done a good job of making Baylor take long shots.

Everyone that made it to the BOK saw basketball the way it should be played. They were men and makes it even more important for our Blue and Gold to get into condition and add muscle.

Some Great games and an outstanding job of putting the event together. The City of Tulsa certainly came together to showcase our city through this event

I don't think they could have squeezed the SMU fans in today. The SMU loss was the only hiccup for the Tournament committee.

I will say this. If our goal was to have as many happy fans leaving the arena as possible we certainly got that outcome!

I pointed out his unnatural hair color when SMU came to town. He seemed unhappy that I brought it up. Maybe he has some things he needs to work on.

He needs to talk with that ref "hair dye" that always has a professional dye job with highlights!

It might also have to do with the effects of lighting on the upper deck. I was there and it was an enjoyable experience with good viewing lines and enough light to see well. But being directly under a bunch of bright lights might not have helped. That's my guess.

^I'd guess lighting too. I noticed it looked like most of the sites last weekend were darker above the first level of seating.
