yep...2 bad calls in a row against princeton: out of bounds off n.d., they get ball back then pick up the block call on the charge
What a dumbass play to end the ND game. Teams just completely lose their minds and fall apart.

This happens entirely too often. Even if you're down two... drive and force a play rather than chucking up a contested three.
Never fails to see these dumb decisions at the end of tournament games. No need at all for a three there.
I don't get it. Give me a drive and a pump fake any day, refs will probably put you one the line. Do it quick and even with a miss you can foul and have still have a chance with 5 or so seconds left.
All the Princeton players were on the perimeter. If two went inside, and the double on the ball, an easy inside shot for the win.

When your the underdog your looking for 1 shot to win it. They only had 10 seconds to get the rebound bring the ball up the court and get a look I don't know why you guys think they should have rushed it up and taken a quick shot that isn't what Princeton does. It wasn't like there was 20 seconds left by the time they got it in position there was only like 5-6 seconds left they only got 1 pass off before the shot. There is a good chance they drive and there will be no foul called in a game like this unless it's obvious. They are not getting a bail out call inside unless its a clear foul.
Yup. Fans and talk shows keep saying "wow, I can't remember a true buzzer beater from UK in decades." That's because we've had smarter teams and coaches who realize a buzzer beater should be a total last chance effort. You need to leave a little time on the clock for a rebound, tip in, or second shot. If the other team comes down and beats you on a true buzzer beater SO BE IT. They don't go in terribly often.
Normally I'd say drive but Princeton is a team that shoots a ton of 3s to begin with and Norte Dame shoots 80% from the foul line.
Pump fake early, if they bite drive or run into the guy who bit. Or drive and kick. Taking an NBA range three is not the answer.
South Dakota State giving Gonzaga a game so far. Just imagine if we were sent West. Gonzaga, Florida State instead of North Carolina, UCLA.
I'm talking true buzzer beater, no time left on the clock. Harrison's shots all had time left afterwards, which is exactly why he shot them when he did. Notice Andrew screams GOGOGO on one of them. Andrew knew he should shoot it with enough time left for something else to happen.
That's not what Princeton does. Teams have to play to what they are capable to doing. Did you see a lot of pump fake drives during the game for Princeton ?
