Well, good showing overall by Cetta. Went from Pigtail Round to wrestling on Friday in Session 3. Well done.

Cetta needs to work on his neutral defense, it sucks. But good tournament for him. No one thought he'd get more team points than Peterson.

Shapiro (Cornell) hit the back of his head hard and into concussion protocol. His reaction didn't look good, mouthpiece flew out and he seemed dazed. Not sure how they can clear him with his history of concussions. Hopefully he's ok.

As a relatively new observer of RU wrestling and wrestling generally, it is really eye-opening to see how much of a hole these guys are in after giving up the first takedown to a wrestler on the same level.

I am no expert but when you are wrestling guys at this level and everyone is so even, that 1st takedown is huge. And a guy like Ragusin who has real good defense and is strong it becomes that much harder.

Rocco Welsh is becoming a problem and he's only a true freshman. 2 of his 4 losses this year were to Ruth and he just beat him in OT. His other loses were close decisions (1 to 2 points) to Starocci and Griffith.

Yup. Their whole team is so young already and they are position for a team trophy this year. Its possible they get Sasso back next year... Plus, have another top P4P recruit (Ben Davino) committed who is a 4x IL state champ and has won every national tournament (Fargo, Ironman, Super 32, Whose #1, etc.) at some point.
