sigh Shawver got too comfortable after his b10 title.. could tell he didn’t have that same fire in his interviews… damn

Nah. Ragusin wrestled better today.
I’m reading too much into his interviews.. before his b10 finals match Shawver sounded possess to beat Ragusin.. then after interviews before ncaa he sounded generic “yeah ncaa title is mine “ non sense w robotic tone…

What a ******** call PSU just got in Nagao match ...questionable takedown and near fall ..then ruled it was not either ...then PSU asks for second look and they change the announced call ....

How did Cetta only have 16 secs of riding time? He was riding until the reversal was awarded and that was close to 40 secs on top.

Cetta gets the opening takedown but then gives up a reversal and then the escape. Leads 4-2 after 1

First takedown by Ragusin set tone and let him wrestle his match. Not a good start to Session 3.
As a relatively new observer of RU wrestling and wrestling generally, it is really eye-opening to see how much of a hole these guys are in after giving up the first takedown to a wrestler on the same level.
