Raugsin was very aggressive early and took the entire 1st period away from Shawver. He learned his lesson since Shawer has been very good on his feet at year.

I was afraid of this. He doesn't have an easy match in wrestleback. He could fail to AA if he doesn't regain his B1G attitude. I had predicted just one AA - Shawver is the best chance, but he has just made it harder for himself.

I’m reading too much into his interviews.. before his b10 finals match Shawver sounded possess to beat Ragusin.. then after interviews before ncaa he sounded generic “yeah ncaa title is mine “ non sense w robotic tone…

Worried about Shawver. This will be Ragusin's revenge match. Shawver has to wrestle with the same zeal as in the B1G match. He would have stiff competition in wrestleback and maybe another Teske match. I hope he wins this one to assure AA.

As a relatively new observer of RU wrestling and wrestling generally, it is really eye-opening to see how much of a hole these guys are in after giving up the first takedown to a wrestler on the same level.
