Ok. Never argued that
Ok but you left it out there by saying WVU secondary would get ate uo. Tit Tat.
Have you looked at the statistical averages?

You should, especially before throwing insults.

WVU’s pass defense is below average, statistically, and Finley is an NFL QB as exemplified last night with another 375 yard performance

NC State pass defense is below average.
maybe. But our secondary would give up a lot..........

Our pass defense is 70th in the nation right now.

NC St's passing attack is ranked 9th in America in total yards............. and 8th in yards/game

NC State pass defense 128th
WVU passing attack 6th

WVU 19th passing yards per completion NC State 57th

Show a stat on offense and WVU is right there with them as well as defense.

Neat, T Bone

Never said WVU would lose

Why not just express that sentiment in a way such as "I'd not be too confident. While I think WVU would win, NC State has an NFL QB and a statistically good passing offense. Given how our defense has played against good QB's in the ISU and Texas games, I'd say the defense gets ate up?" As opposed to making a smug, nebulous statement that you know is antagonistic and then arguing with whomever makes a counter to your intentionally inflammatory comment.

Trolls are like that. He wouldn't have nothing to spin if he did. He spins so much you would think he was a 45 on a turn table.

The strange thing about stats: They don't tell the full story the way the eyeball test does.

Against Texas, for example, the numbers in a 42-41 game don't look good for either team.

But Gibby's defense had TWO great stops inside the 10 with the outcome hanging in the balance. It came through at crucial times.

It stopped another Longhorn drive short by inches.

It did better in the 2nd half than in the 1st half, which means it improved against one of 3 best QBs in the Big 12.

I don't say that because Gibby is a "West Virginia guy." I say that because it happened. When the chips were down, Gibby's guys and Grier and friends together helped save the day.

But those who have other agendas will always point to anything that they think supports their bias.

I will pray for their hate-filled souls.

M agnificent Grier passes shredded Tennessee, 40-14

O verhelmed drenched Youngstown, 52-17

U nable to play North Carolina State because of Hurricane Florence

N asty defense against Kansas State, 35-6

T errific, then timid on offense against Texas Tech, 42-34

A ntsy time for fans, vs. Kansas!, 38-22

I ncomprehensible insanely indescribably inept offense against Iowa State, 14-30

N ailed Baylor, 58-14

E rectile dysfunctioned Texas on 2-point PAT, 42-41

E viscerate TCU

R eam Oklahoma State

S laughter Oklahoma

Problem with eyeball test is geek fans like you that never played the game think you know the game.

It's funny watching people defend Gibson and his "not that bad defense" but those same people want Dana and Spav gone.

Because we missed a game vs NC St....

And we haven’t faced the only 2 real offenses in this league yet in OSU and OK

I was just taking into account big 12 games. All teams have played 7 games and we have given up the least amount of points through 7 games. It’s true we haven’t played ou yet, but in conference games our scoring defense has been pretty good.
