ESPN keeps reporting that JT Jarrett, NC State's 2nd baseman, is "no longer with the team." Article said Justice and Jarrett were out due to COVID related issues. Has there been any more information on his dismissal and I'm just missing it?

I think “no longer with the team” means he was on a plane out of Omaha headed home. Not that he was dismissed from the team entirely. And that Justice was quarantining in Omaha. But I certainly wondered what that phrasing meant too.

So why was justice quarantining but Jarrett sent home? Still doesn’t add up.

He probably rode home with his mom. His dad the Notre Dame coach said in an interview after our super regional that his wife was leaving Ark and driving to Omaha to watch their son play in the WS. He said he would join the family later in Omaha.
