And in fairness to Tatum, he's young too. But Jefferson was acting like Tatum is kind of that superstar already.
That's why I’ve been in ‘anybody but the Celtics’ mode. The Dookies and much of the media would be treating a Celtics championship like it’s a friggin’ Dook chamionship.
I am/was too, until I just read that Vogel and the Lakers are actually going to the NBA front office to file a formal complaint about Lebron not getting enough fouls and free throws.. A guy who gets plenty of star treatment on a franchise known for getting helped by the officials.
What a slap in the face to a guy like James Harden, who's game has literally been altered by post-season officials for 5 years.
I...can't tell if this is satire.
It is not. Say what you will about Harden's game during regular season, but it's drastically changed on him in the playoffs. He no longer gets the shooting fouls he normally gets. Now, if you think those are bogus calls to begin with (his ability/attempt to draw shooting fouls) that's a different story. But that shouldn't be changed in the playoffs. In the last 3 years his FTA's in the playoffs dropped by about 2-3 a game, from what they were in the regular season.. which also means, by nature, less foul trouble/bonus for the other team. Yet his first 7 years? FTA in playoffs and regular season about the same.. and in some cases, actually a little higher in the playoffs. Why is it all the sudden that Harden's game isn't allowed in the playoffs? Or maybe trying to be unbiased, WHY are Harden's numbers dropping in the playoffs, then, if officiating isn't to blame?
Looking at Lebron's last 5 years.. it is largely the same, as a whole, between playoffs and regular season. Some years more, some less. Curry's numbers, actually appear higher in the playoffs.
It's worth noting, I think this has ALSO become in his head. And I think it's now something that he needs to just play through, and maybe it wouldn't be a thing. He clearly let's the officiating take him out of games.
Keep it up, media.PTI gushing about Herro and Wilbon going down the list of UK NBA up and coming superstars.
