Funny he played there damn near 100% two years ago and last year many, many times. Maybe he’s a point guard. Just because he wants to play PF doesn’t mean he’s not both. Joella is way too slow if picking a starting 5. Putting a cancer in the locker room is way too risky.
He played there in NO because they forced him to but he’s said over and over again himself that he’s a 4 not a 5 and it was one of the selling points for the lakers to resign him. I don’t know why you’re wanting to make this an argument lol but Joel is generally considered the best or second best 5 in the league. Joel has also never forced his way out of a city like AD has. I love AD and I love Joel but you’re making this something it’s not and like I said the man himself has said he’s not a 5. Joel isn’t a cancer in the locker room in Philly and he wouldn’t be anywhere else. Also AD isn’t voted for All NBA as a 5 he’s voted in as a 4.

Yeah pretty much .. I've semi sworn off Nike . And Krogers has pissed me off with the " we will put your change on a card " policy . And any store with Mask Nazi's at the front . I'm pretty self sufficient and can pick n choose my places I shop.
Well there is a coin shortage everywhere. One of my local Walmarts won’t even accept cash anymore now because they don’t have the change to be able to give back in cash transactions. Start using a credit or debit card like an adult.

I suppose you have to stop watching the MLB now too lol. Or hopefully you were smart and had already stopped watching it because it’s an abomination of a product regardless of any personal or political beliefs they have.

There are cool players but baseball refused to move into the social media and technology era. Basketball and football both embraced those things and giving the athletes platforms whereas baseball doesn’t. That’s why baseball is dying.

tHere are certainly good , cool people .. but the number of entitled horses behinds is growing too fast. I admire the heck out of a few Tim Tebow , Derick Willis , I Quickley , Dom Hawkins , but the list gets shorter all the time .

Man this feels so good! Love this ****! NBA being back just feels right. The nuggets just had the craziest lineup on the floor, Bol Bol-Jokic-Milsap. Clippers took a little bit to get going but they started to get hot at the end of the half.

Bol Bol can be a fun player if he stays healthy.

Didn’t see one so I wanted to post one for all of the NBA fans. It would be cool if we could get this started and talk everyday. Especially with the NBA bubble about to start.

I’ll go first. I’m a Sixers fan. Have been my whole life. Was born and raised in Kentucky but spent a portion of my childhood in Germantown and just fell in love with Philadelphia and their sports teams. I say it pretty often but as an NBA fan I’ve been through the absolute bottom of what a fandom experience can be like. From the Process to drafting Markelle Fultz and him developing nerve damage and the yips and forgetting how to play basketball to Ben Simmons refusing to shoot because he doesn’t want to. To last year with the only game winning buzzer beater in game 7 of playoffs history. Sixers fans have been through it all lol. I’d like to hear about who you all are fans of and maybe we can politely debate some NBA topics and for the older generation who may not care for the NBA anymore I’d love to hear old stories about former players too!
F the NBA.

First game done. Ben Simmons shooting and making 3s and Embiid swatting fools....I cannot wait for the rest of the bubble. Now excited to see Kemba. He’s said he’s not fully healthy yet.

Wait... what?
Simmons hitting threes?
Suns looked ok, for a bad team.
Book was kinda unstoppable 1st half. Not many points, but drove and dished, played D and was shooting in mid season form.

I saw Ayton shot a corner 3 as well! This will be a weird post season. If a certain team can catch fire then who know what will happen. And yea Simmons said he was gonna start shooting he said he had to start accepting his role on the team if they wanted to win a title. He came out and immediately shot one and it was just short and then drilled the next one and he was out for most of the rest of the game after that.

Watched OKC-Boston.....OKC is a scary team. Their trio of 3 guards might scare some teams. Boston doesn’t have any depth. I didn’t get to watch the last game unfortunately.

My cable provider doesn’t have the option for me to sign into NBA TV if I’m not home, though I have the channel.

I saw where fubo has the scrimmages and online articles say to sign up for the 7 day trial to watch them. Does anyone know if the scrimmages are truly available to watch on fubo with the free trial? I went to their website and NBA TV didn’t appear to be park of the free trial, so I’m wondering if the scrimmages are on another one of their channels. (I know the scrimmages are not available on Spectrum’s streaming free trial).

I was able to watch the Lakers game via the livestream on the Mavericks’s website and think I may be able to sign in today for the Magic/Lakers game with my service via Fox. But I’d like to watch more scrimmages if I’m not home.

Anyone know about the fubo trial? Thanks!

Simmons went 1-2 from three and the miss was a brick, settle down.
Hes never taken more than 1 in a game. This is the first time hes been willing to shoot and the first one wasn't just a brick lol it was on line with the basket it was just a tad short but so far now hes 3/5 on all of the actual 3s hes taken in a game. If he really is just going to start shooting 1-2 a game that completely changes the sixers especially since Shake Milton appears to be a more than capable scorer.

Thats big for both teams. The clippers most capable legit 5 is Zubac. I'm kind of rooting for the pelicans because I like JJ Redick and I'm hoping he gets to continue his playoff streak. Hes never missed the playoffs in his career but I also love Ja and the Grizz so I'm a bit torn on this. I also like Dame and Portland. Idk who I want to emerge there.

That is fine if the players wanna be PC warriors away from work. But I know if I pulled the stunts at work the players are getting away with, my butt would've been fired long ago and it should be no different with them. It's stupid for any company to take a political stance on anything, let alone to piss off the majority of your fanbase. Average everyday workers that have to work 40 hours a week used to watch sports as an escape from the problems of the world. Now sports are part of the problem. I only watch college football and college basketball now.
It's starting to infiltrate the office now.

You should see the internal discussion pages we have. Woke city!

Just gotta ignore it. Things change over time its just how it is and its hard for people to accept. You just have to remember these players are humans too and they have feelings and care about things. For decades athletes kept quiet and respected the viewers wishes even if it bothered them. Now they're asking for the same in return. If you disagree its an easy thing to ignore. Selective hearing as my wife likes to call it. I spend the majority of my day nodding at her and half listening. If you don't agree with something its easy to do that.
They certainly didn't seem to speak up prior to the Floyd case this year.

IF they're so concerned about the community why aren't they speaking out on the breakdown of the family in both black and white communities?

Why aren't they using their platform to call out gang violence?

Why aren't they using their platform to call out human rights violations in China?

So you may forgive my questioning their "concern" for their beliefs.

Being the most boring sport in the world to watch doesn’t help;)
