At age 38 yes. No one has been this good at age 38. He isnt what he once was but is still a top player. 20 years and going is damn impressiveSo you think LaCry is a better outside shooter in the clutch than Bird?
This has always been my biggest gripe with LeBron and why I can’t place him #1 above MJ.Mebron scoring 40 doesn't mean squat when he gives up that much by not boxing out and/or cutting off lanes while he stands and watches. If you don't believe me specifically watch him on every possession. He waddles around and only hustles when the ball comes his way. The lack of defense in today's game is the good explanation for all of the scoring records being broken too. It's literally street ball.
I think he wants to play with his kid.I went to bed with about 4(ish)?? minutes ledt cause I don't trade sleep for the NBA...so I learned this morning LeBitch is gone and now he's teasing retirement....YEAH RIGHT! Like anyone really thinks he's retiring. Yawn. Drama queen.
I think he wants to play with his kid.
My guess is that there will be a bit of an "agreement" that no other team will draft his kid so that he can play in LA.He's a big enough douchebag I could see him bullying the Lakers into taking him even though it would be a terrible idea and a waste of a draft pick.

Black Africans or white Africans? No it isnt. Africans are offended if you call them black.
There not the biggest fans of black people.
African Africans...lolBlack Africans or white Africans?
Man the Heat crumbled in the second half. Sloppy play, lots of turnovers, & Jimmy looked gassed even though he still produced. I think the Celtics win another but Heat close it out in 6.Heat couldn't close it out at home.
The door is open.
He had stated this many times. So to bring up retirement he either knows he can’t make it far enough to play with Brony or he is going to get all the attention on him during the finals getting everyone talking about his possible retirement.I think he wants to play with his kid.

BS, I've watched LeBron all year. Yes his defense is a liability in the regular season, but he always steps it up in the playoffs. He's been playing through a foot injury that multiple doctors said he should have had season ending surgery and yet he puts up 40 playing the entire game in an elimination game at 38 years of age. All of the Lebron hate on here is ridiculous. He's the greatest player of his generation and has cemented himself as the 2nd greatest ever behind Jordan. There's no shame in that and he really has nothing left to prove to anybody.Exactly. He looks my 50 year old a$$ trying to cover my two teenage boys playing 21.Think of all of the close games the Lakers have lost over the last 2 years. His lack of defensive fundamentals has cost them possessions. The shot goes up, he stands and watches it without boxing out, and some younger dude tips it in or rebounds it for an extra possession. He's a massive liability on defense. His offensive game puts up big numbers because everything runs through him. His outside shot can be amazing but he reverts to it too much, much like his younger days when he disappeared in a few finals even though he could have taken it to the hole every time and made the shot, been fouled and gotten free throws, or kick it out to a wide open teammate, much like how basketball used to be played.
I don’t think anyone is arguing his talent and the amazing things he is doing at his age. But when you are a freak of a human and you earn the nickname LeFlop - then it gets under people’s skin. When he makes ill-informed grandiose proclamations about our country and stands on his tower and then completely ignores much worse events taking in place across other countries he directly profits from it rubs people wrong. The fact that his ego is absolutely larger than life by appointing himself the king and the chosen one, how he handled the decision to go to Miami people get annoyed. The way he publicly craps on his coaches and his teammates when things don’t go right makes people not adore him. The rest days he’s taken for a large chunk of his career (problem with NBA in general) doesn’t look great. The fact that after the finals he drops a talking point of if he really wants to play any more - dude is an attention seeker.BS, I've watched LeBron all year. Could you imagine the internet/social media coverage or Rodman???Would’ve been fascinating to have Jordan in this era of message boards, Twitter and TMZ. His life was a circus compared to Bron. Jordan was the ultimate message and control freak. Couldn’t do that now.
Would’ve been fun. Barkley too.Could you imagine the internet/social media coverage or Rodman???
LeBron gets grief for flopping and a press conference at a boys and girls club. He was thrust into the spotlight by age 15. Nobody has handled more pressure, done more positive things in his community, kept hisself in better condition or avoided embarrassing situations with drugs, alcohol, guns, gambling, violence, etc… like LeBron. Oh and became one of the best players in NBA history. Dude is truly one in a million for that, but I get the hate. I wanted Jordan and Tom Brady to fail too for pretty much the entirety of their careers, especially after the baseball nonsense. Would love to see Jordan now though. Respect greatness.I don’t think anyone is arguing his talent and the amazing things he is doing at his age. So yes - Lebron is a stud and what he’s doing at his age is awesome. But he’s not as easy to cheer for as his stats and place in the game would you lead you to believe. I think there are plenty of arguments for number two after Jordan.

One perspective that I hadnt really thought of until last week was ....does his kid want to play with him? I mean imagine making it to the NBA and all that comes with that and having your dad around you all the time. Usually the last thing a 19 year old wants to do is hang out with their parents. He had stated this many times. He's a great player. For me, the dislike stems from his off the court actions as much as his style of play. On Twitter, he threatened a police officer that saved someone's life. He later removed the Tweet. He only offered condolences after a teen was beaten to death at his school. Also, he clams up when he's asked about China's injustices.LeBron gets grief for flopping and a press conference at a boys and girls club. He was thrust into the spotlight by age 15. Hopefully, he learned his lesson with the Twitter issue. He could have ruined a man's life with his angry tweeting.meh
he's a basketball player with no formal education past 12th grade
elegantly dealing in world politics/economics is expecting quite a lot from a professional athlete

no, I haven't.Who.is a billionare.
You have been duped into thinking your degree is the difference by rich people who gladly take your money.
no, I haven't.
I just don't look to professional athletes as role models when it comes to anything outside of their realm of expertise.
Building that brand and the bag that goes with it is the core value now. So when money is what pulls you around you get athletic “experts” on subjects they barely have heard of but the bullet style taking points will do just fine.I can respect that.
But athletes now are way more business savvy now. They feel they are the brand not the league they play in.
