You would never think a championship team would be one where pat conagton gets serious minutes
Didn't know if I'd say it about Bobby Portis, either. But credit to both of them, Connaughton stepped up big in Game 5 and Portis delivered tonight.

Funnily, Connaughton was also a pretty good baseball player as well. The Orioles drafted him as a pitcher some number of years ago, but it seems he made the right career choice.

Booker is just broken. Really awful basketball out of him in the biggest 2 games of his life.
His stat line in Game 5 was very good. Granted a lot of the good for Phoenix in that one happened in the first quarter. Can't disagree tonight, though. He didn't deliver.

He’s been an annoying little ***** is what he’s been. And yes, I stood in line to get his autograph years ago. He’s a ****ing douche now though.
I understand the complaining time to time some guys do, but Booker takes it up to a whole new level. I hope with all the attention on him this offseason, it will make him want to tighten up and now be known as an all time whiner.

The start of the 2nd quarter huh? Comical.
Yeah, wasn't laughing when it was happening. At what point does a coach watching that lead go away start to think, " maybe I should insert my best player back into the line up".

Anyway, Giannis, what can you say about that guy's motor. Never quits, was everywhere tonight. Dude really pushes himself. Everyone should count to ten in his honor. I hope the home crowd is savvy enough to count to ten when he gets handed the trophy.

That Yannis guy WALKS about every other time he gets the ball, and I don’t mean a little foot shuffling he just flat out walks, at least 6 times I counted tonight. The guy is great but come on.

Glad to see "the Freak" and Middleton get rings. Milwaukee created a "super team" with a mid first round pick and a second round pick.
Two mid-first round picks if you count Holiday, who they traded for. I think you have to count Holiday if you count MIddleton, unless you're just specifically mentioning guys they drafted.

Lol don't remind me, but he sure did. I still think after beating UK, Wisconsin had already thought they won the title. Pretty easy to see the way they celebrated after winning the game and even at their press conference before playing Duke.

Yeah, they added insult to injury.

Every time I watch the NBA I see this. Not to mention the palming of the ball to freeze the defense. The constant whining, horrible flops and guys rolling on the floor with little to no contact.

Then they will show replays with no contact and the commentators will swear that was a foul.

Also- glad they put Malika Andrews or whatever that woman's name is to do the post game interviews instead of Rachel Nichols.

Nichols would've just asked dumb questions to giannis about lebron or how he felt beating Paul.

The foul hunting should be called a offensive foul every time.

Kanas does this crap at the end of games. Just run down hill and get a layup or run into someone. I'm convinced it's practiced to know when to run into someone for the foul. No real attempt to score, just go to the line.

Off the ball charges should go away too. I hate that sliding under someone to draw a foul. Let the primaries battle, best man wins.

Ppl always complain about this with the NBA but they also overlook how great what they're watching is bc everyone is so good. Like last game, I'm not sure there's anyone in the world, outside of the NBA, that could have thrown and caught that end game lob. It was perfection and they just made it look like nothing.

Also, those guys are all playing serious defense....the offense is just that good. That's something that ppl overlook because everyone is on such a higher level. Everything is so much faster, everyone is in rotation on defense, etc, they don't have to pull out and run some set not bc they're doing some ISO, but because everyone already knows how to move.

I remember when people kept saying some of the better Kentucky teams could beat the worst NBA teams. Cal put that to rest with more or less the same argument. Those guys are the best of the best, even a bad team has better, more developed players than a great NCAA team.

I love sports and Basketball in particular. That's why I keep watching. Still not giving the refs a pass on bad calls though. The most we can hope for is they are bad for both sides equally.

I think we all appreciate him because of him playing at Kentucky, but he has the feel of a Duke player the way he plays. Constantly looking for a foul and whining a lot… but really most nba players do the same. I still hope he does well, but he’s not nearly as likable as he used to be.
This will age well.

0-7 from 3 and played bad defense. Lost a 2-0 series lead.
Made the NBA Finals at age 24 with a historically mediocre franchise. Scored the most points on the playoffs of any player in their first playoffs in NBA history, had 2 40 point games in the Finals.

Stick to Fortnite and Anime, we gotta get you weirdo haters out of basketball when you clearly don't know the game. I can tell you're Skip Bayless' and Stephen A Smith's target audience. Clueless haters who run around repeating dumb narratives you got from them.

I'm good, it's just weird that fans of the game and a UK fan to boot would be a lame hater with all that Booker accomplished. You seem to be ate up with with hating on him. He has a very bright future and he should be proud of his accomplishments.

Weird that you claim that you can't stand Bayless and SAS but you have their same exact hater energy. These dudes should be celebrated for an amazing playoffs yet here you are hating and being negative.

Hater energy lol, he had a great season and a bunch of great performances and then wilted when it mattered most. Choke.

Giannis shot more free throws than the Suns team combined in games 2,3,5 & 6 and in game 4, even though he didn't shoot more than the entire Suns team, the Bucks outshot the Suns 29-19. Granted I didn't watch every single minute but it seemed to me that he was officiated differently than Paul and Booker when I did watch. Any contact and they would blow a whistle for him but Holiday was allowed to absolutely mug Paul and was only called for 11 fouls the entire series.

Glad to see CP3 not get a ring. Can’t stand that guy. Booker is a great player, but that constant whining is tough to watch. He’s young and had a great postseason run. Loved seeing Giannis and the Bucks win instead of a Lebron super team.
