It’s a pitiful draft. I don’t see Cade as a game changer. It might be savvy to trade the #1 pick.

Bad year to get the #1 pick.

But is it? I get that the entire draft might be down, but those top5 picks might be one of the better top5's we've seen.

My worry with Cade is it almost seems like, he might not care? Maybe lacking in the heart/mind area? Just seems like a guy like him should have totally dominated. I mean he was shooting 40% from the 3, with a body that can do what he wants in the paint at will.

But I still like the top5 in this year, more than most I can think of recently..

I think Herro will bounce back from this season but i don’t think he’ll ever been as good as booker is. i don’t think he has the lead guard skills in him that Booker has shown either.

I can’t ever see Herro being better than like the 3rd option for a team. Booker is currently one of the top 15-20 players in the league period.

I might not be opposed to Mobley and Wood, but the rest of the team is so weak and I'm not sold on KPJ yet. I think Houston would be putting too much emphasis on the front court with that pick.. but best player available might be what they need. And, with the team so bad, I'd say no one is safe from being moved. If the Rockets could get.. what 2 1sts for Wood, or a draft pick and a younger player? Might have to.

Although I doubt they even think of trading Wood. It's easier for us to trade Wood in theory, we dont have jobs to lose lol.
Like I said, I think the Rockets are a bit too early in their rebuild to think too hard about 'need' and have to accumulate as much talent as they can. You do that by taking whoever you feel the best player available is at #2. If that's Mobley and you create a crowd up front, you figure it out later. As for trading Wood, they should consider it if they can get a sizable haul. And maybe they could given his breakout and team friendly deal. Don't just trade him to trade him if Mobley becomes part of the team, but anyone should be available for the right price.

Jesus.. am I really going to have to watch mini-steph curry win the NBA title?

Atlanta was probably the last team I wanted to see win it all out of the playoff teams.

With this past season's turmoil, ratings up in his absence.. that Space Jam movie might be the final KO punch to Lebron...

Oooff.

This is an absurdly presumptuous and baseless assessment by someone who, quite frankly, is not smart enough to be making such assessments.

How many times did you actually see Cade play this season? I bet it’s not more than me, and I didn’t see nearly enough to even begin to dare judging his character. The kid clearly met, and even exceeded, all of the high expectations that were set for him this year. He both played and handled himself like a stud, and as a result has firmly convinced all that he should be the No. 1 overall pick. Nonetheless, ole Lineski has decided he “might not care” and is “lacking in the heart/mind area.”

LOL. And what specific evidence are you basing that on? Is it perhaps just what you want to believe?

You're obsessed with me at this point lol. You legit skip over the first two guys who are selling on Cade, and then remove the portion of my quote where I disagree with them, then talk about the entire top5 being among some of the best top5 we've had in a while, starting with Cade, who I already said should be the #1 pick. Haha how long have you had this grudge against me?

Jalen Suggs showed tremendous fire, moxy and sought out the big shots on biggest stages, it's what everyone talks about with him right now. Green and Kuminga went right for the G-league, finding no use for the college game. Cade? Followed family to OkState to play comfortably, thinking he wouldn't even have to play in a tournament. Then in the tournament, he struggled (shooting wise.. I know you're gonna go bring up his 24 pt game). If he has any downside we can think of, that MIGHT be it. Some of the other guys, appeared to run at competition more than Cade did.

Maybe none of that matters, which is why we were having a normal discussion about it, basically talking out loud.

Suns only down 2 with 2 min left in the 1st quarter, with neither CP3 or Booker having a single point. Wow.

For those who are watching, I didn’t see Cousins in the box score last night. Did he not play, and if not, was any reason stated? Just a game decision or related to the technical or something else?

Had no idea Reggie Jackson was THIS good before the playoffs started. His 3pt shooting has never been as good as these last 2 years in LA. Amazing pickup given all the other talent they have.

That sounds about right
They have to set line thinking people want it to extend. If clippers lose tonight it's basically over

Devalue Simmons as much as you want, but as Cameron Payne shows, he can still be a vital rotational piece on a contender if he WANTS to reinvent his game.

Suns missed very little production the first 2 games CP3 was out because of Payne who scored 40 points with 18 assists.

Here come the Clippers! Hard to keep them down for 48 minutes. Only down 1 now.
