Simmons' offensive limitations aren't as bad as the way Philly has built around him and used him.

A team whose primary option is a center and secondary option is a jumbo wing like Harris isn't a fit for a guy like Simmons to run the point. It hurts everyone involved.

If they'd move Ben to the 4 and had kept Butler instead of Harris (and had the assets they traded to get him) they'd be in much better shape.

Now they're stuck with two contracts nobody else wants and a center with injury problems who disappears when it matters. All coached by Doc Rivers.

They're all begging you to let Simmons be the scapegoat because they know it's a mess and they're all to blame.

What's worse is when they give him away to a team that will use him like an athletic Draymond Green and it makes someone else a contender.

Yeah I guess I shouldn't have poked fun at the dukie, struck sum nerves of a few snowflakes that hate uncensored humor. I'm not a kyrie hater dude balled out when he showed up for work. The ankle sprain probably was still bothering him, he wouldn't be able to guard anyone with a sore foot so they protected his sensitive little self that way he wouldn't have been so embarrassed. So now that I know the new holiday isn't anything to joke bout I switch to jokes bout fat girls. Actually I did know why Kyrie was out I watched him roll his ankle not doubt it hurt, but I guess I owe Kyrie and Prince Cal apology hes pretty angry bout my incentive remark about his reason to not play any minutes in a game 7. Bet Shaq and Charles had sum fun with him also.
You acted like he only missed last game. Didn't seem like a joke. I can't stand kyrie and I'm super glad the Nets lost. Wish they didn't even make the playoffs while he was there, I just have seen wayyyy too many on here say things on here and mean it. If it was a joke then fine, no problem with me mane

NBA Draft lottery ended up Pistons #1, Rockets #2, Cavs #3 and Raptors #4... so I'm guessing those picks will be:

Cade Cunningham to Detroit
Evan Mobley, Jalen Green or Jalen Suggs to Houston
Evan Mobley or Jalen Green to Cleveland (can't imagine they'd want Suggs unless they're trading Sexton or Garland)
Whoever of the 4 is left to Toronto

Could have been an absolute disaster for Houston. Had they landed 5th (which was still a good 48% chance of happening, they'd have swapped that pick with OKC's 18th. Very fortunate to get the 2nd overall.

That said, it seems Mobley is the #2 in mock drafts, and thats who many Rockets fans want. But I'm not a fan of him with the 2nd pick, plus we already have Christian Wood.

Bold move: I'd listen to trade offers for Christian Wood if Mobley is the guy we get. He seems like a lite version of Anthony Davis who might wind up in and out of long stretches (even if this ankle injury was the first of it's kind for him).

Because they had Hakeem repping them at the draft lottery (big fan of his growing up), I was hoping they'd get the #1 pick. Didn't get that, but you're putting a positive spin on it. They'll still get an excellent prospect. Maybe they could see how Mobley and Wood would work together if they choose Mobley at #2. This early in their rebuild, they just need to take the best player available, whoever they think that is amongst the big three after Cunningham.

I'd think they could get a nice haul for Wood if they drafted Mobley and decided to make Wood available. He was excellent when healthy and also has an extremely team friendly contract. Nobody should be untouchable for them if they can get the right price in return.

I might not be opposed to Mobley and Wood, but the rest of the team is so weak and I'm not sold on KPJ yet. I think Houston would be putting too much emphasis on the front court with that pick.. but best player available might be what they need. And, with the team so bad, I'd say no one is safe from being moved. If the Rockets could get.. what 2 1sts for Wood, or a draft pick and a younger player? Might have to.

Although I doubt they even think of trading Wood. It's easier for us to trade Wood in theory, we dont have jobs to lose lol.

Missed most of it.. turned it on with 0.7 left. Hoping to see the highlights.

Love these new camera angles though! For the timeouts and I guess interviews now too.

Cam Payne filling in well. His playoffs this year might make him extra couple million he might not have earned without them. Im not talking 12-15 mill but maybe 5-6 instead of 3-4.
Here’s something that’s interesting about the NBA development curve:

It took Cameron Payne (Suns) 7 seasons in the league to finally reach double digit PPG (10.9).

Shot 41% or less his first 5 seasons in the league.

In fact, Cam Payne was in the G-League or overseas at the time the Suns picked him last year before playing in the bubble.

That is the development curve for Cameron Payne.

That shot by Ayton was only possible by one of my favorite obscure rules. He was able to dunk it with the ball above the cylinder without it being interference because you can’t take a legal shot from out of bounds. The Suns won a game a few years ago the same way throwing a lob to Tyson Chandler.
I can remember the opposite happening a few times, like when Jae Crowder banked in a full court inbounds pass from about 95 feet. I think Tayshaun accidentally made a shot from out of bounds throwing a lob before too.
It was funny to see the Suns players know right away that the rule allowed it to count and I think Booker was explaining it to Rondo (who probably knew and was just instigating because that’s what Rondo does) after the basket.
