Haha Suns in 4 guy is a legend
Once again...KD is unfair.
Hate to see all these injuries.
Guys carry more muscle mass and rely more on explosiveness. That is going to translate to more ankle, leg, & back injuries. For a few years Lebron weighed the same or more than Patrick Ewing. That’s a lot of weight for athletic explosiveness. The leaner guys who carry less weight don’t get hurt nearly as often it seems. You do have some smaller guys like Kyrie and Steph who have dealt with bad ankles since college. Overuse definitely had an impact and we see higher rates of major youth sports injuries due to year round play. But in the flip side, these guys make an insane amount of money and if their job requires them to work more often then it is what it is.Basketball has to do something. I know some will blame it on this new "soft" era.. but the injuries don't lie. Something isn't right. The game today is more high-flying, and above the rim than it ever was, and maybe that's the problem.
Something else I noticed when I compare years is that the average weight of players has jumped nearly 20 pounds, but the average height has largely stayed the same.

yeah. not all rookies are nba playoff ready. and when you don’t know your minutes game to game that’s difficult as well.Feel for Maxey. Put him with the scrub unit up 22 and Hawks started their comeback at that point. Now it’s a game!
Yep. Try telling that to the other posters on the Herro thread. Lmao!!!yeah. not all rookies are nba playoff ready. and when you don’t know your minutes game to game that’s difficult as well.
Add in the Raiders for me. 35+ years without a Super Bowl or NBA Title.bruh glad I’m not a sixers fan
Well I won’t rub it in too bad...but you are talking to a Chiefs fanAdd in the Raiders for me. 35+ years without a Super Bowl or NBA Title.
Nate McMillan is the coach of the year. ATL sub-500 when he took over, not in top 10 of EC.pretty crazy that the hawks are a win from the ecf. i never figured young would be this good inside the arc. he’s carving teams inside the arc and on pick and roll.
Ha yes very 70s.. its very retro.. but it works for me. It's a nice throwback IMO.Utah's court looks straight up Retro out of the 1970s. Free Throw lane looks like a test pattern or the colors of an old school NBC logo
Yeah i like it as well, would be hilarious if that in fact was what their locker rooms look likeHa yes very 70s.. its very retro.. but it works for me. It's a nice throwback IMO.
Now.. I wonder if the put wallpaper all over the locker rooms and put carpet down in the bathrooms.

I agree. Look at Harden when the season first started and the type of shape he was in. He got back into shape fast I know, but still I wonder if he continued to work on his health would he have had the hammy injury. In regards to the injuries.. Colin Cowherd had a great point today. In the recent CBA deals, the players wanted less practices, mandatory trainings, etc. And thats a big reason why these guys can't stay healthy.. they aren't working on their bodies as much. Doing lighter practices that keep your body warm.
Then said that guys like Brady, Wilson, Lebron.. treat their bodies extremely well.. and thats why they "generally" stay healthy.
Thought this was a good point.
Sidebar: I know a lot of people roll their eyes at Cowherd.. but I've been watching his midday show more and more while WFH.. and I really think he can see the bigger picture when it comes to sports. Not easy to have a 3 hour show where it's basically just you talking by yourself.
