The Suns were up 8 last I looked. Booker had 24.

Just checked again and Booker has 26. The Suns lead didn't shrink, however. It ballooned to 20 at 96-76 with a little over 10 to go. These guys are looking pretty good. The series with the Jazz will be epic.

All 5 Suns starters in double figures again. 90 points in the game. 26 from the bench. Cam Payne has been very good off the bench. I really like him running the 2nd team.

People are making fun of Chris Paul saying he's a front runner scoring after Booker has done all the dirty work and I think that is ludicrous. To have a PG like Paul who can put the game away and shut off all hope of the other team coming back down the stretch during "winning time" is incredibly valuable. He just doesn't turn the ball over and he makes shot after shot to steady the team in crunch time, plus his commercials are great. CP from the elbow is one of the most automatic shots in basketball.

I'm not a fan of CP3, but am happy that he's getting a run in the playoffs and has not had his usual postseason injury that usually ends his season. Anyone that trains like these guys do deserve to have some success.

Chris Paul simply elevated DBooks game to yet another level. And Ayton and players like Cameron Payne have all benefited as well. CP3 is the reason for the season w/ Suns.
One of the classy things about Booker is how he defers to Paul and gives him so much respect in interviews.

One thing for sure about Booker is if his agent can't turn that face into a guy making a zillion dollars in endorsement deals then he should find a new agent.

If Mitchell is hurt I take this back. The Jazz will be done in 6 without him.

Mitchell has been a shock to me. I never imagined he would be anything in the NBA but a short career backup for a couple years then off to Europe/Asia with the rest of the ex-Louisville players. Definitely didn't see that one coming.

Everything shaping up nicely for the Suns.
i’d say if kyrie and harden are ineffective, then the title is right in front of the suns, jazz or clippers to take.

i feel like the clippers are going to find a way against the jazz . that shouldn’t hurt the suns imo though because a healthy paul makes them a matchup issue for whoever they face.

Tyrese Maxey appears to be completely out of the rotation now even with players like Danny Green injured and out for the game. Just wow.
They have too many guys to play and Tyrese doesn’t defend or shoot which is what they need. Maxey’s also a rookie on a title contender. It’s not like he would play in the playoffs anyway.

One thing I don’t understand is Simmons has talked up his defense all year . Why isn’t he guarding Trae Young ?
He did……Doc had Danny assigned to Trae to start out game 1. Ben switched out in the 4th on Trae and he couldn’t get the ball past half court. He’s been on him the last 2 games and Trae really can’t do anything with Simmons on him. Simmons is a great defender. He had every right to talk up his defense.

I know at the time I posted that Simmons wasn’t guarding him

That's a great move by Will Barton to get in to the paint and kick it to a wide open shooter. You can't miss that being so wide open and it wasn't even close. That 3 barely drew iron. Would have cut it to 10. Probably not enough, but man, you gotta make that.
