Maxey with a cool 30 - imagine if he was on okc instead of sga would he be regarded as such with that roster around him?

Celtic twitter losing their minds right now and they are very much in this game.

Not all of them but a lot of talk of wanting to move on from Mazulla already. He just won’t a title 2 seasons ago and got a 2 seed despite playing like 90% of the season without their MVP candidate.

It’s not just UK fans. And we’re not as bad as they are.

That’s all i got. Go sixers.

Ehhhhhh. Idk what to make of Joe Mazzulla. Hes done pretty well, much better than I thought when Udoka was fired for conduct. But.. he did inherit this team. And this is a letdown, regardless of Embiid being pretty healthy.

This isn’t the same Celtics that win the ship. No Holiday, No Porzingis, No Al Horford off the bench. And they were without Tatum again tonight.

Maxey is awesome. He just gets better and better each year. Always smiling. Always appreciative. Just seems to be an all around great guy. Hard to root against the guy.
Probably my favorite NBA player at this moment. KAT is doin great also. Hopefully Embid is alright after that beating he took in game 7.

Glad the Celtics lost. As a Lakers fan who knows we have 0 shot at another title until the lebron era is over, the Celtics not winning anymore is all the happiness I have.

Feel like this year's title is gonna be either okc or San antonio.. not that that is some bold claim. Hope it's the thunder and sga

Back to back 3-1 comebacks. Sixers last night. Pistons this afternoon. Raptors and Cavs was never 3-1, but Quickley is in action tonight.

Damn, missed the Pistons game entirely. Was hoping Knicks would keep home court for the rest of the East.

Was reading an ESPN article about Jaylen Brown calling out the refs and read about quite an amazing stat. The amazing part isn't that KAT lead the league in this, but that he was so far ahead of everyone else.

In the regular season Brown was whistled for 40 offensive fouls. KAT was whistled for ....... 65. By far the most in the league. That's quite the difference between 1st and 2nd. Just found it interesting.

Minnesota with Divicenzo and everyone else healthy had all the horses. Their length is a nightmare, but they can't win it all without Dante.

Embiid plays game 1 after they just beat Boston... Knicks smoke them.
Embiid doesnt play game 2, and Knick's need a 7-0 in in a highly contested game to win.

Thats basketball for yah I guess.

Announcers talking about Stephon Castles foul problems the three games prior to this, and he just got his 2nd. Averages 3.3 fouls/game which seems like a lot for a guard.

Makes you wonder if Hurley's Uconn teams got away with a little too much hack and slap basketball the last few seasons.

That Lakers/Thunder game was embarrassing.

The officiating crew had wayyy too much of an impact. And both of those teams have a legit gripe. That was horrid. That will probably be the last basketball game I watch for a while.

And I want the Thunder to win. But that wasn’t enjoyable. Stop letting these teams foul the **** out of each other and calling it “being physical” or “physical defense”. It’s making the games unwatchable.

The Knicks are acting like they want to win the whole thing. Never seen them so ferocious on defense.

Embid and Kat going to war !

KAT and Hart both banged up. Knicks could really use to close this out tonight and take a good week off. It honestly might be the difference between making the finals and not making it.

I've been quietly watching the NBA playoffs here, all along, , just my two cents on it so far :

Never saw a more impressive 3 point CLINIC than what the Knicks did to sweep Philly today. They are playing out of this world good. They looked primed to make it to the finals now. Regardless of it being the Cavs (yay!) or Pistons (boo) - Detroit might give a better series, but the way NY played today, th4ey looked like collective assassins today. WOW.

AS FOR THE WEST ?

Lakers cant stay within 20 of OKC, they look primed to get swept too. And I don't think I can pull my Beast Randle and Minnesota past these Spurs. Wemby is beyond beastly.

Alien.

I'm looking forward to seeing it be OKC and SAS for the west final. That series ( barring a a shocking Timberwolves comeback ... ) will be a dandy to watch.

PS - sidenote on nba draft : how the hell does OKC get a 12th pick and it get projected to be someone like Yaxel Lendeborg to that team ? I know they got the 12th pick from the Hawks, but c'mon man. A #12 pick for the Thunder to add to that incredible lineup ?

Then again, they may need him ...

Wemby and the Spurs will probably have a lot to say about that.

But who knows.

It's been a win watching (some) of the playoffs this year. Pretty entertaining stuff so far. Some silly BS going on on all levels though, as usual. I at least got my popcorn.

I think OKC has more talent, and maybe the Spurs too (mostly because of what a game changer Wemby is)... but the Knicks are playing better ball than anyone else as of late, might honestly be the better "team" as of late. And you look at the guys they've added over the last 2 years, and it's a lot of really tough "dogs" for lack of better word. Brunson is the obvious one, but then you have Josh Hart, Bridges, Alvarado, OG, McBride. IDK, I think the Knicks have something about them now, I think they will push OKC, if the Knicks can stay healthy and advance.

The knicks are playing the pacers role from last year - the “underdog” that tries to take out the west giant. If knicks can keep raining 3s it will help.

Low-key glad that the Pacers didn't get that top6 draft pick from the lottery. I get that they sucked this year, but they really only sucked because Hali was out for the year and they tanked.. It doesn't really feel like a team that should have been given a top5 pick when they were in the finals a year ago. Golden state kind of did this too (another reason I've hated them), Curry gets "injured", sits the rest of the year effectively tanking, and then GSW gets a 2nd overall pick and a 7th the year after,

Down goes the Lakers. I figured the Lakers would get swept, OKC is just that much younger, better, and tougher.

OKC vs. SAS or Minnesota in the west
Knicks vs. Detroit or Cleveland in the east

Who ya got ?

I still have OKC & the Knicks in the Finals

But I have enjoyed watching the Twolves and Cavs, both of those teams I've liked watching the past few years. Knicks have been amazing coming on lately. OKC is defending.

I'm not entirely sure San Antonio will get past the Twolves, but I think it would be a much better series if they get past 'em. So I am sticking with the Spurs to get to the western conference finals in a much anticipated matchup with the defending champs.

As for the East, I still think Cleveland can get past Detroit. I've had the Knicks and Celeveland from the get go. Clearly though, the Knicks are looking strong to be favored to get to the finals.

I'd love to see the finals come down to OKC and the Knicks, personally. I dunno who I'd end up wanting to win that one, wow. That would be a great finals this year, I think.
