Have to go Cowtown here, I think his team without question is the most talented, I would enjoy to hear an argument for drcats team before voting, to make sure I’m not missing anything

To me, I have him beat at 3 starting positions. Clyde> T Mac as he played on both ends, Bird over Kawhi, and Ewing over Dwight. To me the benches are fairly even, and with Larry Legend, I like my team in 6 in this matchup.

I love Chris Paul's game and I love Kevin Garnett.

I think Pau Gasol is woefully underrated.

I think DrCats has a better "fit" as a team, but Cowtown is crazy defensively and very versatile.

DrCats might be better off going Bird at the 4 and starting Hill in this matchup.

I kind of hate Drexler, too. But he and McGrady are basically the same guy in different eras.

Really tough matchup. I wanna see the debate.

If you’re going by primes I would give the nod to t-Mac but not by much, a slight edge over Clyde. I would take Garnett over Gasol, and I’m a big Gasol fan. Chris Paul and Oscar is really close, but as big of a fan of Paul I am, I’d give it to Oscar. I give you Larry over kawhi, and I think that’s significant difference, but Howard and Ewing is very close, case for both but I would take Ewing. The bench I love the versatility of cowtown bench is a huge plus to me. The star power of bird is about the best thing going for drcats

Sidney Moncrief during his prime was a tier 1 guard in the 80’s. 5 straight all star appearances, 5 straight all NBA, and 5 straight all defense. I’d consider he and Grant Hill better than anyone on Cowtowns bench. I’d love to hear from you as to how it’s much better. Maybe I’m missing something

I never said the bench was much better, I just really like the versatility of his bench over yours, it’s not anything personal. I believe he has more of a complete team, which includes the bench. You have at many points in the match up where 1-5 pos could be handling the ball, I really like the versatility on the bench. The length and playmaking ability on the bench, and a prime artest and a prime hardaway coming off the bench really pulls it away for me. Moncrief and him were amazing in their prime as well. Towns is head above Horford, and Walker over Horry. Parrish over grant. Odom over Ellis and rip over rondo. There’s more of a one-dimensional type of team for drcats, I really like the versatility of cow town

Antoine Obviously has the better resume, but big shot bob is perfect as the 9th 10th best guy off the bench, as he is ideal for small minutes doing everything you need to win, including clutch 3’s.

Antoine Walker is a better scorer than Horry, but he's a volume scorer that's not good enough to play big minutes in this format, so what does he give you? You can't be running sets for him to take a 30-footer.

The rest of his bench is solid though. This one is tough.

I find all of these pretty tough, tbh.

I tried to go with versatile players that played both ends of the floor best I possibly could.

I think that Antoine could do very good in that role, Horry spent most of his career playing as a role player, and a very good one at that, I just have a personal preference towards walker, because of versatility and the assumption that he would buy into playing to win, instead of using his talents to pay his stats

Oscar and Penny at point. Why do people claim I don't have a point guard?

My thoughts exactly, Penny in his prime was an amazing point guard, just happened to be taller than the norm, maybe that’s why he’s not seen as a point guard by some and moreas a point forward, but I agree he’s a point guard

Oscar was a point forward, in those days, really a small forward. It creates an imbalance on your team, in my opinion. Ewing would dominate Howard in pretty much every way, you don't have an answer for Bird. Nothing personal, I've always considered your team very unbalanced as a whole depending too much on modern players who will never be among the elites when its said and done.

I think my team may not be as versatile as cowtown but I feel like too much star power could be an issue when it comes to egos and a 7 game series
Wait a minute. What's your team? Sorry, I don't remember you drafting. Am I missing something? [laughing]

I think they are both better than the other at 2 spots. Tied at the other (Drexler/McGrady).

But even though Bird > Kawhi, I think Kawhi can at least slow Bird some. Slightly. So I give the slightest of advantages to Cowtown on starting lineup.

But I like DR’s bench better because of Moncrief. I’m legitimately torn at this point.
