I'm a Bulls fan, as you are, and am prepared for another decade of crap basketball.

Looks like a poor decision for Khyri. However, Detroit would probably be a good situation for minutes, because they are freakin awful.

Close to zero chance he would have been a 2nd rounder next year. That’s the gamble though.

He would be 23 years old at next years draft. The common theme of the NBA draft is the younger the better. While some are expecting next years guard class to be weaker, I'm not so sure he would be a guarantee first rounder had he stayed.

That doesn't count... the NBA wasn't as big of a deal back then as it is now. Way before MJ and even way before Bird and Magic.

You might be correct but look at the numbers and location of where such a team would be. The pick a name center downtown? A new arena? Just don’t see the $$$ available but if it comes, hope it succeeds.

My Sixers had a solid draft. Picked up Zhaire Smith. He could become a defensive stopper on the wing and a guy who can do a little of everything offensively. And they got a future first rounder.

Michael Porter Jr. seems like a piece of work. When he came back from injury at Missouri, he shot 42% of the total shots that his team took while he was on the floor. Of course, he was out of shape and coming off an injury, but that didn't slow him down from ball hogging at a record high level!

To add, this was back when the NBA Finals were shown on tape delay. Teams could win the championship, fly home, and watch themselves at the same time as everyone else.

And I bet tickets were about ten bucks, it's all relative. Didn't work with ten dollar tickets, prolly not gonna work with $300 (or more) tickets.

I go to 20 or so Rocket games per season and my tickets are in the $60-90 range and are good seats. The $300 are on the floor and club seats.

I can get season tickets for $2700 per seat. No it isn’t pocket change, but it’s not the $13,000 you are claiming either. Those tickets are almost exclusively corporate tickets anyway.

Now are there enough people in Omaha willing to pony up $3k to $6k per seat? I don’t know. I do know that the vast majority of season tickets go for less than $120 per game.

Creighton and Nebraska hoops both average 15,000+ fans per game. Omaha would definitely support NBA basketball if they brought back the KC/Omaha Kings. But if the NBA did expand or relocate any teams, I would think Seattle and Las Vegas would be tops on the list.

Awesome, kinda surprised they aren't more to be honest. Thanks for the info, now I know :)

Celts. Hard to project what they'll do at #27. Honestly just want them to take best available if they don't trade up.

Best best scenario: an athletic big man with rim protecting ability (their biggest roster need) who was projected to go in the 11-15 range fell to them at #27. Robert Williams will look good in green swatting shots and throwing down lobs.
