I was through watching the Duke show on ESPN and switched over to the news just to hear them proclaiming Zion already as a superstar. WTF?

Where is Mac mclung? There is some dude on here that thinks he’s the next pistol Pete, and some if it actually had him drafted in the first round because he can dunk.

It's a moot point for KJ now. Cleveland would be title-less if Lebron was born anywhere other than Ohio. They're still a trash franchise. KJ is going to a first-class organization now. Feels like he is more likely to be successful now than if he were stuck in Cleveland. Huge dub for KJ.
You can thank dan Gilbert for that. Even though lebron is the heart and soul of that franchise Dan never wanted to give into lebron to make the team better because dan is the owner and a bad one at that. I hope he enjoys his lottery picks the next ten years

Really? You can say that about virtually everybody drafted tonight.

Not really. For the most part they expect the top guys to be good enough to be worthy of the investment of a 4 year contract. You don't expect to get rid of a lottery caliber player in a couple of years. Falling this late in the first round is almost a throwaway pick. I believe they only have to give him 2 years and will cut him loose if they are not happy with his performance.

He’s not, though. Davis, Durant - a couple.

Oh and eat one.

As prospects? Zion is ahead of where Durant was coming out of Texas. Davis is the only guy with an argument, but even Davis had questions regarding what kind of offensive player he'd be at the next level. Obviously, he bloomed quickly into a NBA superstar. Even then, that's 15 years of prospects and there are only two guys with an argument?

Zion is definitely the most exciting prospect since Lebron either way. There hasn't been a guy with his build and his level of athleticism... I mean, ever? He's an absolute freak of nature, like a John Wall/Charles Barkley combo. And he's an awesome, level-headed kid. Rooting for him to have an awesome career. We're only butthurt because he went to Duke. UK fans have been trying to downplay him going back to early last season when Reid Travis was going to show him what a man's game was or whatever.

I think he will be a bust

Cal: I need you to calm down, Mr. Bol.

Gafford to the Bulls. SEC having a decent rep across the two rounds.

And yet another Zion shot. Can’t wait until Lebrun or Davis schools him.

No, I’m sick and f’ing tired of Duke getting every benefit of the doubt all the time.

And NO, he’s not a better prospect than Durant or Davis were.

Agree to disagree on the prospect rankings. At worst, he’s the third best prospect in over 15 years and he’s definitely more exciting than either of those two. He’s John Wall in Barkley’s body. Wall got a shitload of hype in his time as well and I don’t remember us complaining. If Wall came out now as opposed to 10 years ago? With Twitter and NBA media being what it is now? Would be pretty comparable. Sounds like the real issue is that he went to Duke, not with Zion.
