Too late, the damage has already been done. Cal not hugging that clown is far too little and too late. 2010 Cal wouldn't even touch that type of kid with a 10 foot pole, remember him passing on Josh Selby, Tony Wroten, Chris Walker and many other five stars because they didn't have the character to play at UK?

But since his recruiting has slipped and since Duke has been kicking his *** for what seems like forever, now he has to roll the dice with those shady characters such as that dude who just got picked at 7, whatever his name is
why is Cal not hugging him or been promoting him

i understand all of us being upset
not only did the Sharpe camp lie to BBN they also lied to Cal
that is why he has kept his distance and for the good of UK recruiting his mouth shut

It’s official. Not a champion player amongst the Top Ten.

We need to win the title next year and make Oscar a lotto pick. The Cal can retire on top and we can start anew.

Folks just aren't very bright if they think Cal isn't pissed about the whole situation. Has said the diplomatic stuff publicly as he should though.

When is the last time we saw the Trailblazers on TV in our timezone? So the Sharpe haters don't have to worry about seeing him again for a long time.

Personally, I think he should have played but getting the #7 pick....... I don't blame him for jumping and I guess his strategy worked. Don't hate the playa, hate the game.

Its all business now. Kid worked the room pretty well. Pay the man and let's move on.

I’m glad he wasn’t all fakey smiles with him. Maybe. Just maybe a wake up call for John Calipari.

To paraphrase what Robert De Niro/Sam Rothstein said in Casino, either Cal was in on the Sharpe scam or he was too stupid to see what was going on.

Either way, he should no longer be the head coach at the University of Kentucky

Until he plays, he doesn't exist to me.

It is a good sign in my opinion as well. I would have been very upset if he had been there hugging on him
Same. I’m willing to give Cal one last neutral chance this season. But had he been jogging in Sharpe? That would’ve really set me off towards Cal.

Damn. You must be loaded. Got the 54 million lying around for that?
Won't be needed. Cal has a huge ego and if boos and tons of empty seats start appearing in Rupp, I predict he will be gone on his own. Not like he hasn't made tens of millions already in his career, I doubt the money motivates him at this point

The problem is that requires Cal to leave on his own right now. We’re stuck with him until next May at least.
