New year… IC has at least one stud. That one stud can make a big difference in 3A?
Offensively yes….but chances limited when Byron has 9 minute 26 play drives! Bowen is a beast though….best hope is to get into a shootout like Tolono did last year in the 3A finals- that was an amazing football game.

Congrats to ICCP for the big win, like most I was not expecting this outcome but very happy to see it. I did also hear that Nazareth had a lot of their best players hurt or not playing, not sure that would have mattered as it seems like a dominant win for ICCP. This was a major surprise last night in addition to HF dominating Bolingbrook as both teams were ranked in the top 5!

Anytime someone can knock off the roadrunners it should be celebrated with this type of excitement so I fully understand the posts.

That being said the fact I wasn’t in full meltdown mode should tip anyone off that maybe this was a bit more than expected.

It’s week 1, a brand new young QB, pretty big names and role players absent from the field, and it only takes 3 wins which they should easily pick up in the back half of the season.

Again, it sounds like IC has a lot to be excited about but Tuccs doesn’t get upset over “preseason” losses. The way I see it Naz has a 4 week exhibition schedule before I have to start getting nervous.

The good news for Naz is they really only need to find two wins in the back half of the schedule as Franny is the typical automatic W for the roadrunners.

Only in the post season. We like to typically like to give Franny false hope during the season and let them win their Super Bowl.

Byron returns 5 starters on each side of the ball. They will be just fine.

If the game is at Byron - that’d be a significant advantage.

Yes I was. Although York’s players are all from the same zip code and I would assume ICC is pulling from several. Everyone saw the feisty practice between the two over the summer. Tend to think ICC likely has the higher end talent but York has more depth. I think a few years ago York put it on Naz pretty good so might be the same outcome next week.
York technically pulls from 5 different zip codes, but I'll let the comment slide. Maybe all the football players are indeed 60126
