I am not waiting until the end of the game. Fire Monty. His stubbornness may cost us a QB for the season.
I am curious. Does anyone still question that Monty is not talented enough to be a head coach? I and others were hit pretty hard for pointing out the issues with Monty since his first year and I'm wondering if any of those still around would like to take any of that back.
It's time to move on from Nice Guy Monty. This team is woefully unprepared to play this game and by the time we make any halftime adjustments it will be way too late.
Monty should be fired for his negligence on playing Brin while he's obviously hurt. It doesn't help our team and it's not doing Brin any good. He should also be fired for neglect for the way he treats special teams. He can whine his way out of it about the OL inexperience...but we don't do anything well in any phase of the game right now. Catastrophic failure. You expect games like this against good teams. Navy is not a good team.

I really thought he had turned a corner this year. It felt different at the start of the season. But he has returned to his mediocre norm.
I'm still thinking about their last TD. At what age does a defense linemen learn to recognize a trap play and then close hard and take on the block keeping your shoulders square to line of scrimmage? And sense you knew your were playing Navy this week did you not work on that all week in practice?
It will make no difference. The University has no money for more than what you see on the field. Previous mistakes made administratively going back decades have put us here and it could literally never come back.
No adjustments to injury, or dealing with QB injury at all. If we had everybody healthy...
Nice for all these Navy guys to get a chance to do things they have never done before.
A good coach creates an offense that takes advantage of the plays available. A bad coach forces their "system" on players who have no chance to execute it. Monty is a bad coach and only the financial woes of the University itself has saved his job.
Basketball is a different financial animal, Dickson had more ability to make a move
Playing the academies is about discipline... something this coach knows nothing about...
Hell, I’d be willing to take a chance on a young coach on the cheap. It couldn’t be worse.
Put me in the Monty must go faction. Braxton should have been the starter today. We might have been in the same spot as defense and special teams have been awful but there’s no reason to put Brin out there today.
Once the new AAC is here, cheap is all we will be able to afford..
Waiting til the end of the year would basically tell everyone we really dont care about wins and losses. First time in my life im not interested in watching the team I care about. And its not fair to the seniors. Make a commitment now, or i will make my own commitment away from 11th and Harvard til next season.
