Extra fakearoni rigoroni for the brain dead drunken sheep.
Pretty comical, but I don't know how you pull off a conspiracy that big

Hadn’t heard of him before now, so good shout out. This type of play he describes in this video happens in nearly every game, usually multiple times per game. (not always an intereception) It happened with Lions-Packers. You just have to understand how to spot the sequence of events but this video is spot-on. I don’t know how they keep the secret but when you have eyes to see when this happens in every game, there is simply no other possibility.
Not very many of them would have to be in on it. Again, I don’t know how they keep it a secret (there has been leaks btw) but it could literally be anything. We don’t know what we don’t know kind of thing. What we do know is that it’s scripted because it is extremely predictable if you see them tip the cards on any given drive and know what to look for.Ok. So NFL officials, coaches, coordinators, refs and even players are in on it? These are some of the most competitive people on the planet. But yet they do whatever they are told, even intentionally throw pics. Whatever.....I call ********.

I’ll put it this way: The longtime football fan friends that I watch games with in person, point out the keys to look for and predict the outcomes of drives from, are now all in agreement. It’s scripted.
I know how crazy and improbable it sounds, but since I know that I’ve seen it and predicted drives game in and game out, no one on here will change my mind. If anyone ever wants to watch a game and have a beer to see how it works, I’m in Omaha.
I would assume that anyone that's in on it would be getting paid in other waysIn order for this to work, would you not have to find people who agreed to fail? I mean it would be easy to find people to be the hero, pick 6's, etc, etc....but how do you talk coackes and players into being the zero with this much money at stake? I mean kickers get axed within hours if they miss a game winning kick, or they can keep collecting paychecks if they make it...why would coaches or players all agree to be the zero and get fired and have to move their families or lose that $$$ ????
I see your point but we don’t really know what all paychecks they collect though, do we?In order for this to work, would you not have to find people who agreed to fail? We know the reported amounts and timelines but can anyone really see everything that’s in the contracts? There has been several players but they delete tweets and get shut up. Jalen Ramsey is the most recent that I know of, a couple years ago I believe. We know what their NFL contracts are...so how do you talk a guy into tearing that up for a promise to get paid later...and isn't it just a little questionable not a single player has ever confessed to this?
Like OP said, the NFL is an entertainment entity. They have no contractual obligation to deliver completely unscripted sports, that I know of.We know what their NFL contracts are...so how do you talk a guy into tearing that up for a promise to get paid later...and isn't it just a little questionable not a single player has ever confessed to this?

It might take an idiot to spill the beans.I know about his Tweet but I also know he is one of the biggest idiots in the league. I do not find him a trustworthy source...but it was a bad look for sure.

I think the biggest argument against might be if that the lid was ever blown off of this it would be financially devastating to the league similar to the scandal of the 1919 Black Sox. Many, many billions at stake.Like OP said, the NFL is an entertainment entity. They have no contractual obligation to deliver completely unscripted sports, that I know of.
I don't know how many remember the 2019 NFC Championship game between Rams/Saints where the possibly most obvious pass interference play in NFL history wasn't called on a Ram defensive back that would have set the Saints up on or near the Ram's goal line.
Instead of a 6 or 7 point lead with 1:41 to go there was plenty of time left for the Rams to at least get in field goal range to send the game into OT where they eventually won the game.
I do recall how after the game there was some serious consideration among some hard core Saints fans to sue the NFL over how badly they felt the game was officiated, meaning they felt the NFL had the officials call the game in the Rams favor so they would go to the Super Bowl instead of the Saints.
That's when it was brought up several times that the NFL was now classified as a sports entertainment property and was under the same protection as the WWE, Movie, Music and Gaming industries in that you are paying for a product to be entertained by. The owners of said properties don't guarantee that you will always like the result of the product you are viewing, listening or playing so there will be no refunds.
My dad once told me that anything you have to pay to see should be considered entertainment. With all the billions upon billions of dollars invested in sports by the networks, gambling and many others I would find it hard to believe that the officials aren't at least informed before the games are played which way to call particular plays to keep the scoring in line with how the networks and gambling industry want it.
It doesn’t really have to just be about money though and who will watch Brees or Rodgers. Even if it is, they have to throw in some wins sometimes for every city to stay interested in their team. What is interesting is you can go all the way back to 1970. Every 10 year period on the nose up until now, has one team that has won the Super Bowl exactly 3 times. No more, no less. You can easily look it up, that’s 5 decades straight. What are the odds? The problem with your example is I think the NFL would have preferred Brees advancing there...

I actually won a lot of money betting the Patriots when they beat the Rams based solely on that information. I believe Robert Woods dropped the game winning touchdown for the Rams.
Where you been? You must not pay attention. Nfl is all about money. You should know this by now.
Imagine all the behind the scene meetings, memos, emails, phone calls and discussions that must have been had to put the fix on NFL games and seasons. The conspiracy would have to be bigger than the *alleged* moon landing. The moon landing happened once. NFL seasons are year after year, game after game. But yet, no one has come forward. I wonder why.
Games don't have to be fixed as the majority of NFL games come down to a few plays here and there. All it takes to completely turn games towards one team is make a couple calls on crucial plays.
People make stupid plays, drop passes, call timeouts when they have none, let routine ground balls go through their legs at 1B, calls get made and missed by refs, all with life changing results. It's human nature to choke at times. The gambling benefits from this would be gross amounts of money and we know gambling is heavily tied to the mob, which never went away, they just got smarter. If you consider the amount of money they can make, it almost seems improbable NOT to find a way fix the games and keep it that way. They probably use technology, but I don’t know. The only thing I know is that it happens regularly and it can’t be just the officials like some think.
Bad or inconsistent officiating is the bane of organized football.Games don't have to be fixed as the majority of NFL games come down to a few plays here and there. All it takes to completely turn games towards one team is make a couple calls on crucial plays.
Very believable that the fix is in here and there. On a grand scale? No I don't believe that. I also don't believe that Katy Hobbs or Joe Biden won their elections. We know how the sausage is madeI think you guys are getting trolled. No one believes the NFL is fixed.

These threads are great for outing the nutjobs. I suppose you believe in Jewish space lasers too
And they still bet on something by the millions that they think is fixed. Now that is insane.Well look at how many people watch wrasslin
I have gone back and forth on that. Adrian Martinez really had me thinking he was up to some **** the way he played. Frost as well with the complete ******** he would call while coaching. I do lean towards certain big games being fixed like definitely the national championship.I'm curious if the people who think the NFL is rigged think the college game is to? ...and i'm serious.
Guess this is what we are doing since the open board clown show is closing. Wow.

Georgia was actually favored over Bama last year by 2 or 3 points. Georgia had JUST lost to Bama by 17 freaking points. How the hell would anyone favor Georgia?? To lure bettors, that’s the only reason. Lo and behold we know what happened. That tipped me off that Georgia would win that game. I do think Georgia wins again tonight.
A 17 point win is very decisive, no reason in hell Georgia should've been favored again. That’s why I think college would be infinitely harder. But at the same time, if it’s some kind of tech or crazy **** we don’t know about, it would more easily explain why it doesn’t really get out in the NFL either.Georgia was favored the first time to tbough, so not a shock they were favored a second time as well. I think it would be easier to herd cats than keep college kids quiet about fixing games, we know it's happened with point shaving scandals but I don't think from an organized long term type of tbing it would be possible, at all.
