National Duals Session 3

[owensj02]

This is a joke.

[StrikeHawk3]

What a joke

[CubHawk1237]

Lockett a cocky SOB

[dtripp26]

This is a joke.

I'll take the independent review. The whole process needs to go that route

[SEWAHawk]

Lockett a cocky SOB

And we’d love it if he was a hawk…

[sstark46]

Absolute garbage

[dtripp26]

PK vs Facundo

Gotta have a win here

[MSU158]

Truly, the only takedown in that match to me was Caliendo when he rolled through the first exchange. They gave the takedown to Locket, but Caliendo rolled it through in one motion, and I don’t know how Locket ever had control.

[dtripp26]

PK shot...leg elevated. Drags him to center.
Still working to finish

OK breaks hold. OOB
OK shot. PK stuffs. OK lifts. PK roll to stale mate

Lots of action...no score after 1p

[Jamie_Taco]

Great job wasting our challenges yesteday, Tom lol

[StrikeHawk3]

We are so bad at finishing with a leg in the air

[CubHawk1237]

Could have been about 10 stall calls on Lockett

[dtripp26]

2p OK DOWN

PK riding. Drives OOB
ESC
0-1
25 rt PK

Facundo shot. PK OOB
30 sec

[StrikeHawk3]

Could have been about 10 stall calls on Lockett

But they called one on Caliendo on top for a ride that is never called stalling in college

[Scrubby]

Could have been about 10 stall calls on Lockett

Lockett was messing with caliendo and it seemed to work. Rare to see him flustered like he was in this match. Refs also gifted voinovich who should have probably been dq'd on stall calls. Ref is inconsistent with stall calls this dual.

[dtripp26]

OK dives in. PK sprawl

end 2p
0-1

PK down
out quick

OK shot, waterfall
PK holding ankle. SM

OK shot again. Sprawl.
No offense!!!

[MSU158]

Nebraska may need Ferrari to keep them from getting shut out. Lol

[Scrubby]

But they called one on Caliendo on top for a ride that is never called stalling in college

It was absolutely a stall ride, he was sitting on an ankle hook with zero intention to move. He did the same thing again later and ref didnt care. As I said in earlier post, this ref hasn't been consistent with how he is calling stalling

[dtripp26]

1 min to go
1-1 rt not a factor

30 sec
hard tie. center

SV

[dtripp26]

OK drops on a single. PK sprawl again.

12-10 IOWA going into 184

[GableBeer]

Cardiac Kennedy finishes it in OT

[owensj02]

PK!!!!!!!!

[dtripp26]

Angelo vs Ryder!!!

[SEWAHawk]

Going to need the next 2.

[HerkHawl]

It looks like Nebraska is not wrestling starters. Saw Hardy but not many others in the results

[StrikeHawk3]

Would feel real good if Kueter was going

[dtripp26]

It looks like Nebraska is not wrestling starters. Saw Hardy but not many others in the results

Taylor got majored. Minto lost to Kharchla

[cwobrien11]

Yeah I don’t know what they saw on that sequence. I thought it was a good shot, rolled through without control and Mikey came out. Should have been 3 for Caliendo. It was odd to me that they called it a 3 and then a 2 because I didn’t think Locket ever had control of anything.

[dtripp26]

90 sec in. Not much action. Angelo on 1 knee a lot

Very anti-climactic after last 2 matches

0-0 after 1
Ryder down

AF claw ride. Ryder sit out and 1
AF andkl pick
3-1

[dtripp26]

RT up to 41. AF right back in after OK ESC

Good action!

ESC 3-2
50 rt AF

end 2
3-2
50 rt

[SEWAHawk]

Sinclair beat McNelly

[MSU158]

Angelo is just so damn positionally sound. AJ, but with more variety in neutral. Where AJ would just muscle through, Angelo can finesse or muscle.

[dtripp26]

AF down to start 3p

Leg in. AF hooks ankle. On feet. OOB, OK still in control

AF getting ridden. Leg in.
SW OK

RT erased. OK still on top

[StrikeHawk3]

Thank you for calling that on them

[dtripp26]

1 minute. ESC AF
4-2
no rt

AF reshot. OOB

45 sec...long shot OK. Nothing

AF playing the edge...20 sec

[Scrubby]

Hey a ref finally called someone out for constantly dropping from one five count to the next before hitting the full count. Long overdue, that ride style has been exploited for years

[dtripp26]

Angelo wins 4-2. Ran the last 20 sec

15 - 10 IOWA

[StrikeHawk3]

Come on Mo!

[owensj02]

Good win for AF. BIG match for Mo to help the team.

[dtripp26]

BIG MO vs Merrill

CM super RS frosh. We need to steal one here
