I wonder if Scott Frost watched the game. That poor fella thought Martinez was better than Burrow and passed a golden opportunity to have the best QB in college football in a long time. On top of that, ignoring the strong family ties to Cornhuskers football in the process. Joe Burrow says he wanted to help return Nebraska to prominence, I mean geez. This is waaaaay worse than Holgerson missing on LB Murray, and it makes Frosts first two seasons look even worse than they have imo. I have 2 Husker friends, and they feel jipped lol.
Joe would not have the weapons at Nebraska that he has at LSU. I doubt he would be as successful at Nebraska In large part due to the offense at LSU. I don’t see Joe running that option spread offense that Scott Frost coaches.
Oh also Scott Frost is not a great head coach at a power five school. Coaching at a group of five school where are you have one maybe two or three tops tough opponents is different than in a conference where you have 8 or 9 tough opponents every year. If Nebraska goes to a bowl game this next season it will be the first season Scott Frost can say that while coaching at Nebraska. It would not shock me if he’s let go after next season.

You hate Ohio State, so it blinds you from reality. Moreover, you obviously never played football even at the high school level, as it was impossible for Shaun Wade to avoid contact with Trevor Lawrence's helmet because Lawrence ducked his head at the last fraction of a second before contact. As for the other call, which cost Ohio State a TD, the zebras on the field called it a fumble recovered by Ohio State and returned for a TD, and you're admitting that the call shouldn't have been reversed on replay by characterizing it as a bang-bang play. I don't blame the officials for Ohio State's loss, as Ohio State could have overcome the bad calls by scoring a TD late to win the game, but you're full of **** and deserve to be called out.Thoughts.
Dabo is a Douche. I can’t root for him.
CLEAR targeting by Ohio State. Easy call.
The fumble/incompletion was bang bang. But lately they have been calling those incompletions. Understandable call.
And, LSU was the best team ALL year long. Even when some fools tried to rank other teams ahead of them.
One minor point. LSU didn't have more depth. LSU rarely substitutes on defense. That was one miscalculation by the Clemson coaches. They though they would wear down LSUs defense, but it didn't happen.I had that one right.
LSU was faster, longer, with more depth on defense and they frustrated Clemson on offense.
I also think Clemson was fortunate to be in the game to begin with. They got the good side of 2 fortunate calls vs Ohio State that really I still can’t see (Clemson fumble ruled incomplete and a targeting on Ohio State). Last night they had 2 calls that went against them that were a little questionable (targeting and offensive PI).
Sad part is now we’re 8 months away from meaningful football.
