if you never listen to another piece of musical advice I ever provide, you should listen to this: if ever you have the chance to see Nathanael R. & The NS, don't blow it! Go see this band live. They were incredibly good at The Jazz Fest.

Yes. Great show. His voice sounds EXACTLY the same. Amazing at his age. He did Moondance which is fairly unusual recently. Also did Hank Williams' Jambalaya. Played Sax, harmonica. He was in fine form. No chit chat whatsoever.

He did By His Grace and Whenever God Shines His Light (a staple of most of his shows).

It was a great mix of tunes. Closed with Gloria. As I mentioned, he did the Hank Williams' tune Jambalaya, he also did a Ray Charles cover, John Lee Hooker's Think Twice Before You Go, and I believe a song by Sonny Boy Williamson.

Of, his major "hits" he did Brown Eyed Girl, Wild Night, Baby Please Don't Go, Moondance, Days Like This. His voice really surprised me; it was the same as ever.

I'll second that. They put on a hell of a show Wednesday night at the Southside Ballroom in Dallas.
