Nate Oates

[turkeywildturkey]

For those UK fans calling for Nate Oates to replace Cal, Alabama just got beat by 5-14 Georgia. As they say, the grass is not always greener.

[UKWildcats1987]

But but but he beat uk last year.

[bbnkat02]

It’s Oats. No E.

I mean if we want him to replace Cal, we need to spell his name right.

[willyclyde]

Who wants Nate Oats? We can do much better.

[bkingUK]

Day shoot threes tho

Do you read when you're on here?

[TFCat11]

When Cal eventually does leave, UK will get someone way more qualified than Oats! So all good

And they will play like the 1984 Boston Celtics when they play UK.
Never fails.

9 of 34 three pointers

Live by the three ....

die by it.

[Tubbyfan78]

Goes 9-16 at UK, it’s a Fluke and he’s great
Loses a few at Bama’, see he stinks

[G-PIP]

Of course. UK is still really the only basketball game any SEC school cares about. They win that one game and they feel like their season has been a complete sucess.

Oh man. This board had a major oats boner. For like a whole year. Been quiet lately tho

[GGCAT]

You lose at Missouri and at Georgia.

Thats freakin brutal.

[ManitouDan_anon]

Losing to Crean and Ga is putrid !! I thought Bama was good but thats lose # 7 .. Phew .

[Stayhi859]

At this rate Bama might not make the tourney

[TheOtherGreatOne]

When Alabama hits those 3s, they are tough, but if they are not, they are flat out not good.

[jessieshorts8]

I guess that means we better win at their place since Oats sucks so much. What's the excuse if they beat us?

[fatguy87]

They can't defend.

They actually aren't that great at shooting or finishing. The sole factor keeping them from being miserable is their shot selection.

[stoneycat_20]

All the Nate Oats guys are hiding now... he's had 1 good year out of 4 and that was with Avery's core

[Jkwo_rivals113955]

Lol blackcat,

You want to take an introductory high school stats class to understand why roller coaster by-the-minute takes will always make you look silly?

Nate is fine, but when you rush in snarkily against the long-track-record bet in favor of hot name of the minute, how often are you gonna come out on top?

At least let the guy get to a pre-UK Tubby level of success first before putting him in such harsh comparisons.

Keep dividing the fanbase after a great win.

[Crawfords Corner]

I always thought Hall was better anyway.

[Yardeth]

Fire Cal!! Just joking

[BigRedMachineBigBlueNation]

You pumpers are more interrsted in punping up Cal after the win than celebrating.

You can laugh all you want. Yall are acting like a bunch of children with bruised egos. Feel the need to rub it in other’s faces and proctect Cal’s honor

Yes and so are the fans, but no keep making stupid threads like this and dividing the fans.

They beat Baylor, Houston and Gonzaga. Makes me wonder about those teams. Gonzaga commitment to defense. The others lacking offense maybe.

Someone revived this thread, TurkeyWildTurkey created this thread on 1/25.

It goes both ways as far as insults and praise towards Calipari, just do what I do and ignore it. Although if you are the ones dishing out the insults after a loss then be ready to see the praise after a win, just the way it is.

No its not. One side is criticizing Cal the other is bashing the fanbase.

I think both are fair game

Not that I don’t agree with your initial message, but you just called someone a pumper.

how is that not contributing to dividing a fanbase?

You gonna get on the guy who bumped an old oats thread when they went up on UK in the first half? That’s why we are here posting about this after all. Read the room dude.
