One of the reason I've always liked the rangers just like I like teams in the nfl who have had state players throughout the years. One the reasons I never cared much for the saints when I was younger. They usually never drafted state guys and always had ole miss guys.

He's going to finish the season with a .302 average and 27 bombs for the Rangers. Not bad for a 13th round draft pick. Palmeiro, Clark, Moreland, and now Lowe. It's odd how many former bulldogs have played 1st base for the Rangers.
If I remember correctly, every single time the Rangers have made the playoffs they’ve had a first baseman from Mississippi State.

If Nate can hang on 2 more years he'll continue the streak. Rangers just need pitching but that's a tall order in the MLB as depleted as their rotation and pen is. Major help is 2-3 years away.
