I will be in Nashville this weekend with the wife and friends(we are from Kansas) and I was hoping to find a good place to watch the UK game. Anyone now if there is a place that would have a pro Kentucky crowd?

I have contemplated driving over to the game but just don't see that flying with my wife/friends.....as they put a lot of planning/time into this trip.

Go Cats!

I would think the Tin Roof on 4th Street would be a safe bet....but I'm sure there are others on Broadway.

Not necessarily a Kentucky bar but I like Bar Louie in the Gulch. I don't much like Broadway, it's too crowded.

The official UK alumni game watch spot is Double Dogs, near Belmont on 21st Street. It's a fun spot. Most of the Broadway bars will have live music on Friday night. You can also try Sportsman's Bar and Grill up the street on 21st. Better food there but maybe not as many UK fans.

Memphis is a good 4-5 hour drive from Nashville. Not what you want to do for a 9:45 pm game Friday.

Only if you have Ms. Daisy in the car. I make it regularly in 3 hours or less.

Yep. Easily 3 hours, not even close to 4 or 5.

Also, not on eastern time in this part of the world. 8:45, not 9:45 here.

I haven't been there yet myself, but a new 24 hour place simply called "The Diner" just recently opened. I've been told it has 4-5 floors with something different on each floor, one floor being a bar with lots of TV's.

Might Google it to find out more.
