Just read on NAFOOM:

Please show me the part of the investigation where boosters play a role in the most critical of charges.

1. LL said he was never paid by an OM booster...he was by an MSU one
2. Rebel Rags have proven to be ******** charges
3. Funky's...oh ****, the got sugary drinks and crappy pizza
4. Loaner cars for two players which involved a business not a booster

What am i missing?

Um, let's see...

1. Maybe you should go back and read the NOA. LL did claim he was paid. More than once. Identified the booster in a photo array. Identified the vehicles he and his associate drove. Where do you think that $15,600 figure came from? I'd like a link other than Godfrey that says LL was paid by MSU. I saw a link from the NCAA where they said they investigated it and couldn't verify the claim.

2. Proven by whom? Just because Yancy says it?

3. A booster provided free meals to student athletes. Gloss it over if you like, but it's a big no-no.

4. Businesses can also be considered boosters, or representatives of an athletic department's interests. And when players keep "loaner cars" for months, and then are allowed to trade them in for other "loaner cars" for months, it goes beyond the concept of a loaner car.

The facts are in short supply over there.

The $3,000 "interest-free promissory note" Tunsil got

punished for tells you all you need to know. I dont even think that was in the NOA because he served his suspension. But there not a pay for play scheme going on here.

Also, doesn’t Ole Miss admit that a booster straight up gave Tunsil’s step dad $800?

Yeah, it seems that they have convinced themselves that there is nothing to the whole investigation other than Leo's testimony. I mean, it is as if the other 14 or so level 1 violations are all just "fake news". What a bunch of kool aid drinking morons they are. I will be so glad when the COI's punishments are announced, so they will have to cease their ridiculous spin on the whole thing. Good grief I am just tired of it.

The sad thing is that they won't change even after the penalties are announced. They'll just start with the NCAA was just out to get them and trumped all this up and now they're going to sue the NCAA back into the stone age. They're sociopaths and you can't reason with them. Whatever ills befall them it will always be someone else's fault and they did nothing wrong. The NCAA could have literally caught Matt Luke giving a hooker a $100 while the hooker is on her knees blowing a recruit in the back seat of Bjork's car and they would find someway to spin it to where they did nothing wrong.

Take a few minutes to go back and read the plaintiff filings for the RR lawsuit and you will see where they are pulling their "conspiracy" narrative from. Whether it be Yancy, the three cocksuckers who post on NAFOOM, Not-A-Fan, their administration, or Johnny Reb regular fan, they are all pulling the same direction in pushing the narrative that was drummed up by a tort attorney to try and prevent the three defendants from sever. This would take the case out of their home stomping grounds and put everybody except for Miller on Main Street in Starkville.

Literally all of their narratives are pulled straight from the filings. Go read them and see. I'll give them credit, they have always taken whatever narrative is thrown at them (good or bad) and pumped the **** out with organization and numbers. I don't blame them because it's all they have left.

Ole Miss will Ole Miss and I'm laughing at every second of it.

If you are waiting for anyone associated with Ole Miss to admit wrong doing without caveats, disclaimers, and qualifiers, don't hold your breath. They have the same mindset as their ex head coach-- I am too good to apologize or accept fault. This is why they were such a perfect fit. It's also why this saga lasted two years longer than necessary, but don't tell them that.

I don't want them to admit wrongdoing. This needs to continue as long as their ego's will let it.

Best part is they think everything hinges on KJ and LL. Hate to tell them, but even if those cases get tossed out there is still another dozen level 1 allegations to deal with.

I really feel like they are just looking for moral victories because they know winter is coming.

almost want them to drop the KJ and LL testimony

The meltdown will be even more glorious after the NCAA still hammers them and they can’t blame it all on their not-rivals.

Yeah they seem to forget about all of that. Say.... just say that Rags does win the lawsuit and all three defendants have taken the stand and announced that Mullen-Steve-Loafers-Sting Ray-A Dairy Cow and whoever else instructed them to lie to the NCAA to take down Johnny Reb.

Now what? Who is to even say that the NCAA will pursue our program or drop any of the charges? And if they do drop the charges they are still ******.

I find it coincidental that when we talk about an idiotic nafoom thread over here, we suddenly start getting these spam posts.

You are trying to reason with morons, think about it!

This. You simply can't reason with people who are stuck in an echo chamber. They'll only pick out the details they WANT to hear, whether it's true or not.

The fact that the NCAA is going to slam them for nothing more than a sleepover and helping a kid out when his ride broke down is a national travesty. **

We're talking about a message board full of inglorious MENSA members who insist LSU is their "real rival" to the extent their own university commissioned some substitute shop teacher to craft a half-cocked "trophy" for this half-cocked idea. They want nothing to do with us, are not obsessed, & yet they oh so creatively named their board MOOFAN backwards.

Logic: she left them decades ago.

The NCAA did a good job of laying out the facts. Spoon fed the olemiss fans about the stream of things of value going to recruits at the direction of the staff. Even discussed attempts to obstruct the investigation by staff. And they still don't get it. Too bad NCAA doesn't have subpoena powers too uncover the true depth of the scandal.

This
How do people not understand this. Reading OM response to NOA isn’t hard.

It’s 125 pages but at the end of each allegation there is nice summary of the level of allegation and Ole miss’ admission or denial.

They admit to two level 1s with Leo Lewis

Dealing with Nafoom is like trying to idiot proof something. The idiot will figure out how to step in it every time.

They kill me on this...

The ONLY things in the NOA are CORROBORATED stories. That's the "new" NCAA enforcement arm.

If the NCAA was throwing sh(t against the wall on "what they knew happened" there would have been a hundred plus allegations. The only stuff in the NOA was proven beyond a reasonable doubt in the eyes of the enforcement staff. Not "he said, he said" like they want to believe. Leo simply confirmed a story they already had -- and correctly identifed a booster and his secretary and their vehicles -- THAT THE NCAA ALREADY HAD.

They keep regurgitating about "the NCAA is crooked because Leo admitted we paid him and we walked on it" -- while ignoring the fact that the NCAA LITERALLY let them walk on Tunsil's glorious draft fiasco. I don't believe Leo ever said it anyway, FWIW. While the whole world knows Tunsil said it and it is not included anywhere in their NOA.

The only reason I cut and paste stuff like that and bring it over is at the heart of your reply. It's amazing to me how those idiots parrot ******** as absolute fact, while disputing absolute facts to do so. Their panties are in a bunch over there because of this thread....and the response is about Leo's bad day at the COI....which is a great example of ******** being parroted as absolute fact. I'd love to see a legitimate, well-sourced article from a reputable source reporting such a thing, and then maybe I'll start to believe it. I'll tell you what I do have....a copy of the NOA, including both the Rebel response and the NCAA's response to that, and the only thing I've seen in print is that Leo received $15,600 in cash from a booster and described the booster, his associate, and their interactions in detail. Oh yeah, the same document says that Leo and a couple other players received almost 3 grand in free gear from Rebel Rags. They have nothing but rumor and innuendo in response. Godfrey wrote an article about Leo admitting he received money from State and to a man, those idiots have taken it and ran with it like absolute fact, ignoring the only reputable, legitimate reports that are out there. Godfrey disqualified himself as a reputable source when he gleefully pushed the "it was Nutt" narrative. Those idiots believe we are in some sort of trouble over Leo, despite the fact that we have documentation from the NCAA clearing us, and we saw in the NCAA's response that they investigated and cleared us.

I know there's only like a dozen people who read NAFOOM anymore, so I wanted to bring that post over here so it could get the exposure it deserved.

All I can figure is that they use that board just to troll and shitpost, while retreating to the IPF to have the actual conversations, although I'd be truly interested to know if "real" conversations among them actually exist. I'm not sure.

The amount of people being shamefully wrong and in many cases knowingly misrepresenting, but still spouting their articles and opinions as if they are the authority on matters, and the amount of people who still seem to believe them is what's shocking to me(and this isn't exclusive to Ole Miss but in the every day news cycle). It's a double-edged sword for them because they have NO decent/reputable source for information on themselves. I don't see any real trust anywhere in the cycle. Could you donate to that university and trust the stewardship of your money after all of this?

How can Godfrey write the "Mullen is 1A and 1B for Florida" article -- wait a week -- and write the "Stoops, Strong, Kelly" article without ever retracting or quantifying his previous statement? Because it all reads like propaganda. And that's why we can't take him seriously. At least Yancy knows who and what he is.

Maybe that "trust" statement isn't totally fair, because I could definitely still support Bianco. You can certainly believe what you hear from him. They are right to have him on the hot seat -- after nearly 20 years he's still a poor cultural fit for them.

The, other than the ACT stuff, most damning allegation, WHICH OLE MISS ADMITS IS TRUE, is that the cheating was going on while they were knowingly under investigation.

They admitted that. Think about that.

Whatever penalties they get or don't, that is a hell of an admission as to how bad the level of what they were doing was.
