No, Deacon should've worn about 77 based on his size.
The NIU defense is worse than anything Iowa has played in awhile. I think Albany was tougher last year

Could have used either one of these guys in the Deacon season..... Can't believe we all lived through that season
Too soon. The difference to that point was two bad drops by Iowa WRs and huge runs while Hank was in.
Don’t forget Hank threw a bad ball on his first drive in the end zone on 3rd down where we were fortunate to get a PI called (it was indeed PI). But that was a bad ball and wouldn’t have ended in a Td throw by Hank had it not happened. Then two huge Moulton runs.
Regardless how this goes, I feel like we have 2 QBs we can win with!
The Hawks are expected, as they should be, to put a whooping on NIU. But we've seen many of times in the past where they should smack lesser opponents and struggled mightily. This is a nice feeling.

Hank is throwing some nice balls - nothing like kids day
Run blocking looks a lot better with Brown in the backfield, or they are are just running KM with him vs the other guys.
Hank does look really good right now though. His passes are just more crisp than Hecks.
