I have the stats for the 1st 2 games of 2 different UK players.

Player A
game 1 fg 0-6, 3pt fg 0-3
game 2 fg 3-6. 3pt 0-2

Player B

game 1 fg 4-11, 3pt 1-6
game 2 fg 0-6, 3pt. 0-2

Who are these players?

Murray went 2/5, and then 1/10
Booker, I thought started 0fer for a while
Malik went 25% first two games

Coach Cal will get it right. Not a big deal.

All our good shooter started out ****.

This doesn't include guys like fox who started 9%... While he still finished at pretty bad percentage, you saw him making at good % in later part of the season.

I could do the same but player A be Brad Calipari and player B to be Herro. and it would look equally bad.

But while we're comparing them.... are you saying Herro will go ice cold the last month and a half and play horrible D while a team that shouldnt beat us will beat us in the tournament?

Or are you saying Herro will light the hell up out of the NBA once he leaves and make us p*ssed we couldnt even get a whole year of that at UK?

I am not saying anything. Just comparing first 2 game stats.

You really are something... Booker was an 18 year old freshman. For him to be up and down is totally normal. It’s great to see him playing at an All Star level now that he is maturing.

One underrated thing about Booker is his speed. I remember thinking that year that he was cherry picking because literally every game he'd end up with the ball on run-outs. Turned out he was just that fast. Jodie Meeks type speed.

Herro doesn't have that, obviously. His best attribute--at least from what we saw in the Bahamas, back when the world was still bright and good--is that Malik Monk-style power-dribble into a jumper. He's really struggled with that, and I think it's impacted his entire game.

I still think he's one of these players who "knows how to play the game." Very good passer. Great size for the 2. Plays hard. But you obviously have to make shots.

As long as he and Washington continue to struggle I think the team will. You can't have essential players scuffle like those two are and put a good product on the court.

Everything I said was correct. Imagine booker back for a second year playing the way he did as a rookie in the nba. Don’t hate the kid but it irks me we struggled and lost 9 games ..... could of used him as his rookie play suggest he’d of been an all American

Of course you were trying to say Herro can turn things around and make it big time like booker.

It’s a true statement but I don’t think booker is the player to use as the kid didnt bloom into a stud until the NBA.... and the thought of herro being a typical freshman then bolting and finally becoming a star in the nba doesn’t help us ...

Gotta get some good players to stay more often.

You are not wrong but he was a for sure lottery pick... he wasn’t coming back and why would he?

We could use these 2 players right now with these first two games worth of numbers from each.

Player A
7-10 and 3-5 from 3 for 20 points
4-5 and 3-4 from 3 for 13 points

Player B
6-13 and 4-7 from 3 for 17 points
7-13 and 2-5 from 3 for 21 points

Highlight below for players.
Player A =
Doron Lamb
Player B = Brandon Knight
