He played great last night. Was attacking the rim, going into the basket instead of fading away. Was great to see

His positive performance was mostly in the second half with hook shots ,layups and foul shots which helped build the 20 point lead.

Felt like the crowd was feeding off his energy during parts of the 2nd half.

he played aggressive. Good hands on boards, went straight up on defense and had timely baskets using his sheer size.

He gets back to this demeanor (shades of 1st half of season) we are in a good place.

He has very good hands for a big man, on rebounds, catching passes, making passes himself, I even think his post scoring is really based upon a soft touch(I think a lack of athleticism as well as fatigue has hurt him in the post).

And all that makes his FT shooting so odd. He could/should be a decent shooter from the line imo.

I thought they were really trying to give him support at the line line. Easy to do I guess when he is playing so well and the team is winning by a bunch, but it was nice gesture by a knowledgeable fan base.

Young and Mathis were the top standouts but Myles and Baker were both huge too. We neeeeeed the better version of Myles to make post season runs.

Maybe he did just need that extra rest. That's a big boy banging in the B1G and then double majoring in engineering. Has to be beyond exhausting.

Agree with everything you stated. Good to see him come out of his recent funk.

Good to see this thread - that was one of my takeaways last night. He really stepped up going hard at a lottery pick in the second half. This is a good game to build on for him.
