awesome to see Myles back at the rac. Seems like such a great young man and he was certainly a big part of changing the culture at RU

Myles' sister is attending NYU. Myles was involved in many activities outside of basketball at RU. He did so much for our university. He transferred to UCLA for his last year to go to an Engineering school in the silicon valley and also play near his home so his family could see him play. His Dad, Mom and sister were at RU for many games and I met all three of them at some of our practices. They are a lovely family. I wish Myles nothing but the best. At UCLA he was usually the backup center but he rarely was given the ball in their offense. Watching his games at UCLA I think he was in a little better shape under Pike. He would have been so special if he played another year for us but he was thinking of his future in engineering. He will always be a favorite of mine. He and Geo were roommates and they both did so much for RU. Actually Myles could have played at UCLA this season as well but he decided not to. He was first of all a 100% student interested in life after his playing career.

UCLA is not in the SV, more of a 5+ hour drive north to get there. Stanford would've been where he could've transferred to be in the SV.

and also play near his home so his family could see him play.
This is a more than worthwhile reason all by itself.
