Oh thought it was football related. Wisco is top 5. As much as it pains me. They kicked our dick in the dirt.

Craig Bohl would be an interesting hire for Nebraska ... could he bring his QB?

Coaching career (HC unless noted)
1981–1983
Nebraska (GA)
1984 North Dakota State (DB)
1985–1986 Tulsa (LB)
1987–1988 Wisconsin (LB)
1989–1993 Rice (DC)
1994 Duke (DC/LB)
1995–1999 Nebraska (LB)
2000–2002 Nebraska (DC/LB)
2003–2013 North Dakota State
2014–present Wyoming

Scott Frost is the People's choice. I remember, when Bobby Stoops went to OU, instead of his alma mater. Worked out for both OU and Iowa. My children have gone to UNI. Interesting resume. Heck of a season down at Central Florida. Florida will likely call on him too.

Coaching career (HC unless noted)
2002
Nebraska (GA)
2006 Kansas State (GA)
2007 Northern Iowa (LB)
2008 Northern Iowa (Co-DC/LB)
2009–2012 Oregon (WR)
2013–2015 Oregon (OC/QB)
2016–Present UCF

Rocky Long has never stepped foot in the Big Ten map ... and has some similar paths, as Mike Riley, without the head coaching experience. He replaced Brady Hoke, when he left for Michigan?

Coaching career (HC unless noted)
1972–1973
New Mexico (GA)
1974–1975 Eldorado (NM) HS (assistant)
1978 New Mexico (OB)
1979–1980 New Mexico (DB)
1981–1985 Wyoming (DC/DB)
1986–1987 BC Lions (LB)
1988–1990 TCU (DB)
1991–1995 Oregon State (DC)
1996–1997 UCLA (DC)
1998–2008 New Mexico
2009–2010 San Diego State (DC)
2011–present San Diego State

Mike Riley's resume ...

Coaching career (HC unless noted)
1975
California (GA)
1976 Whitworth (GA)
1977–1982 Linfield (DC/DB)
1983–1985 Winnipeg Blue Bombers (DB)

1999–2001 San Diego Chargers
2002 New Orleans Saints (AHC/DB)
2003–2014 Oregon State
2015–2017 Nebraska

Dan Mullen just lost to Ole Miss and he gave Pat Fitzgerald his first bowl win in 2014 ...

Coaching career (HC unless noted)
1994–1995
Wagner (WR)
1996–1997 Columbia (WR)
1998 Syracuse (GA)
1999–2000 Notre Dame (GA)

I think there needs to be a play for Petersen. No inside info but not sure he is thrilled to be at Washington...not sure this is enough cause to flirt with another school...but I'd hit him up!!

https://www.si.com/2017/10/02/washington-huskies-chris-petersen-late-start-times

Chris Peterson has spent his career on the West Coast, so seems like a fit and likely non-prospect. He lives two times zones away ... which has been the case most of this life.

Justin Fuente ... seems more like a Southern coach, why leave a good gig, which has a good long-term rep with head coaches, rather than a merry-go-round?

1. Frost

3. Mullen.
4. Some other qualified coach Moos knows that I would have to google.
No way Bohl or Bielema.

It seems no one has mentioned Jeff Tedford. Sure, he is not anyone's first choice, but he has done a nice job at Fresno State, and he has coached some great quarterbacks. He is surely a better choice than some of the names I have seen thrown out there.

I don't share the boards love for Mullen. The Huskers would be OK with him at the helm, but not great. I see the Huskers always finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th in the in the West Division. 69-46 with Miss State. Sure the Bulldogs have to play Bama, LSU and if you think Auburn is good (they are again this year) but the SEC gets to play 4 patsy non-conference games too. So if everyone will be happy with 8-4 then he's our man. Don't complain if we get him and that is what the Husker's record is.

I think I would rather take a flyer on the ISU coach or even Penn State's OC Joe Moorhead.

I was more excited about Matt Campbell before I watched the fourth quarter of their loss to KSU today. He and his coaching staff were to blame for the defeat. It was almost as bad as watching Nebraska's clock management over the last three years. His stock plummeted for me today.

I wouldn't worry about 1 game. If there were a bunch of games like that then Im with you.
